Alright sports fans, and here we are, a beautiful day for the game, as you take your seat in the stands and prepare to cheer on the team that you have loved ever since that one time when you were a small child, or maybe since you went off to see the wide world after leaving the nest and happened upon such furor, such rampant excitement, that you could not help but be swept away by it yourself.
And of course it comes down to the wire whether in the first play or the last, they always do. So settle back in your could-be-far-more-comfortable seat and enjoy a brew, at least until you're forced to jump to your feet and crane your neck and cheer at the top of your lungs for this run or that hit or that terrible call that will cost you...
And there it is in your plastic cup, a pale golden yellow that has just a bit of froth around the top and leaves a clean glass after each tilt. So you take a sniff. Well, this certainly isn't Budweiser. Mild cereal and cracker notes waft up from the constantly bubbling liquid, a touch of baking white bread and just the slightest hint of grassy hops. Unoffensive, but unremarkable, even for a Pilsner. WHOA! What a good run! you forget for a moment as you join in the eruption all around you, becoming simply another small addition to the deafening roar.
A nice big gulp gives the satisfying mildly prickly carbonation, but with a light body and crisp finish that is very refreshing, perfect on this mild, sunny day as you continue the ritual, the up and down, jumping from your seat in excitement and sitting down again either in elation or disappointment.
The flavour is quite serviceable, though still less than excellent. A leaning towards the cracker-grain in the mouth, with just the slightest bit of faint bitterness to balance and eventually linger in the mouth when the cracker grain has died down.
You will doubtless have several more of these as the game winds on, it's quite nice to gulp them back as you continue to be filled with alternating elation and frustration.
It's nothing special, but it beats the hell out of macro swill, and is quite a serviceable little pils. Now if only we can get that next run...

Just because it is organic does not mean that I will compromise on the expected style. For me, the only two things which could be improved is the water carbonates and therefore the mouthfeel.

Overall, I enjoyed this beer and feel that it has a ton of potential.

From a bottle into a pint glass, overly carbonated for sure with a ridiculous pillow-like head. Slow fade to a towering head and clingy lace. Appears cloudy and unfiltered though checking with other reviewers, this characteristic is not noted. Nose of sweetish barley and citrus hops. Taste - decent hops bitterness up front, clean. Mouth - Nice semi-viscous and refreshing. Overall: An incredibly foamy “organic” take on pilsner that is atypical but enjoyable. Would definitely try again.

Faint yellow liquid, massive white head, too massive, it was making up half the volume of the glass! Aroma was faint and mild in a grainy kind of way. Faint lemon smell.

Taste was pretty nondescript. A little lemonyness, mild grassy malt aspect. Not too much going on. Good warm weather beer, high carbonation, no off flavors. Pretty thin body and mouthfeel. More bitterness than your average pilsner. A little bit of that metallica thing going for it. Could use some more crispness. Saaz/Noble hops, but not enough for my liking. A little bit reminscient of the old school Full Sail Equinox esb at times.

There's always been some questionable consistency in recent years with Butte Creek stuff. I dunno, maybe that's why they have no distribution anymore. This one is pretty mild, especially if you look past the bitterness.

Pours pale yellow with a foamy white head. A little lace.

Mineral and light malt in the nose, some leafy bitter notes.

Malt is light and grassy, and is immediately pushed aside by clean, nondescript bitterness. This flavor dominates to the point of fault. Too much aspirin in this one. Malt is lean and this one definitely finishes crisp. Mouthfeel is lighter and bubbly.

Overall, I liked it, but this has a bit too much bitterness for my enjoyment. It was hot today, and I really would have liked to reach for another one of these -- but just needed something a bit more refreshing.

A - clear golden yellow; loose, foamy, soap-like head; decent retention

S - lemon, grass, straw, herbal hops, noble hops

T - straw, bitter, noble hops, grassy, faint lemon

M - smooth, crisp, well carbonated, light bodied

This is a decent, refreshing, drinkable beer. It's to style but I wish it had a stronger malt character. Between the lemony notes and the noble hops it was hard to discern any malt at all. Overall, if you're looking for something lighter and refreshing this is worth checking out.

Thin head, barely more than a covering layer of bleached white, hard to call it foam, the lacing is thin and slides swiftly down the glass sides. Pale glowing yellow colored liquid consistent throughout, very few and widely scattered loose bubbles. Sweet nose of honey, biscuit, buttered scone, cocoa powder, almonds, floral water, lemon juice, then peach and apricot fruit, has a hoppy herbal side but it never rises above accompaniment element. Full-bodied and much foamier than expected from its visual appearance, fills the mouth close to completely and close to heavy for its type. Caramel, honey, butterscotch, biscuit, croissant, corn syrup and lemon peel. Garden herbs, wildflowers, wheat germ, saline, and a light quinine touch. Green and red apple, pear, peach fruit full with both juice and snap. Can’t quite say it is refreshing, easier to aver that this beer makes it hard to kick back and relax.

The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of pilsner malt with some grain and grassy hops notes. The flavor is similar. I get a lot of malt and grain with a little bit of earthy and grassy hops. The bitterness is low. Light to medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nothing offensive, but a fairly bland beer.
