Pours a black color with a short toasted khaki head that settled into a light ring.
The aroma is of a light roast, a bit of char. Hints of caramel.
The flavor is of a solid roast, cold brew coffee. Slight brine. Mellow. Simple but nice.
The feel is light to moderate, not very stout like. Quite neutral on the palate. Smooth and easy to drink.
A flavorful and simple stout. Not very complex but drinks very well.

On draft at the brewery.
Poured a deep brown hue with a one finger foamy tan beige head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured roasted malts, charcoal and bakers chocolate.
The taste was layered with the same roasted malts and charcoal with a secondary dark chocolate and dry coffee. A bit of salt detected at the finish.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style with a coarse carbonation.
Overall a tasty and well made stout.
