A new edition to the lineup of brews available in NH.
Pours a deep golden amber with a one finger creamy white head. I was expecting a blueish hue, then I read the label and saw golden ale with natural flavors.
The aroma of blueberries and sugar is overwhelming me as soon as I start pouring. It has filled my nostrils and I haven't even gotten them close to the glass yet. Closer inspection reveals blueberry. Reminds me of the blueberry Eggo waffles my dad used to eat most mornings when I was growing up ahhh memories. I really can't find much else in the aroma.
Taste is a little more beery but really sweet and blueberry like. Up front you get a bit of bready malt and maybe a little honey followed by some of that blue fruit there what is it again? Sweet and sticky in the mouth, medium body and carb level.
Not a bad beer, but I couldn't drink many of these. Its a bit bit sweet and quite one dimensional. Meh!

Pours yellowy golden in color with thin, white head which dissipates quickly to a slight haze on the surface. Lots of streaming carbonation and a haze of small particles suspended in the beer.

Smells of bready malt mostly, a bit of light blueberry aroma but it is a bit underwhelming. Tastes bready and malty up front as well, which moves a decent but not intense bitterness. Finishes with a good blueberry flavor and leaves a nice fruity aftertaste.

Light body, crisp feel, but a bit on the watery side. This beer is easy drinking and the low ABV is kind of nice too.

A- Clear, golden body with a thin white head.

S- Nice blend of blueberry and sweet/bready malts.

T- A thin taste of malt followed by the blueberry flavor that I kinda expected upfront. Not much else going on.

M- Kind tin/watery feel with a moderate carbonation.

D- Not a bad fruit beer, but not something I'd order again.

Looks like a decent pale ale, orangish/amber with a slight haze to it. Nice 2 finger head on this pour. The aroma is massive amounts of blueberry, but it smells fake, maybe its just too strong or something. The taste is blueberry on steroids, its way overkill for me which makes it seem kind of fake. Some hops are there. Its almost like someone took a good pale ale and poured in some sort of blueberry extract. I can see some people out there liking this but its just too much fruitiness for me. I don't mind a fruit beer when it just adds an element to the beer but this seems to out play everything else that this beer could have going on. I'd like to see it tamed a bit. I'm trying to score based on the style, which I admit is not my favorite style beer, but I can say I've had slightly better blueberry beers.

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass

A: Amber in color with 2 fingers worth of head that disappears quickly with little to no lacing.

S: Simple sweet blueberries and malt. Who could go wrong with that.

T: Oddly the sweet malts hits first and then is followed by a even sweeter blueberries. Not much more here.

M: Pretty light and crisp but watery, carbonation is pretty mild for the style.

D: OK with a low ABV, you could drink a lot of these, it is light and refreshing but there is not a lot here. Not a bad Blueberry beer.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed that beer. I usually don't like fruit beers but this one had a perfect balance of the fruit (a little in the aroma and a little in the flavor) without any sweetness and without beating you over the head with the flavor.

Good golden color (not sure why I expected bluish), great carbonation, excellent arome (see above) and a very drinkable beer even for those who don't like fruit beers, like me.

A very nice fruit beer. Carbonation and bready/biscuity flavor keeps it from becoming syrupy. The finish is like drinking those blueberry mini muffins that come in little packages. I couldn't drink more than one of these in a session (too sweet), but I was fairly impressed nonetheless.

Pours a clear gold body with a one finger head and a little lace. A decent blueberry aroma along with some faint biscuity, bready malts. Smooth, creamy, lighter bodied with a large blueberry base for the taste with some minor hop bitternerss and malts for balance and to even the finish. Nothing spectacular but a good blueberry taste and this is an easy beer to sit back and relax with if you like fruit beers.

One of my all time favorive beers! Ale is light and fresh, and crisp and has no bitterness that I normally associate with ales. Not as sweet as I thought it would be but it is a ale after all. The aroma is mostly of fresh berries. Not much blueberry taste in the initial, but possesses a strong blueberry aftertaste. A must try for fans of fruit flavored beer!

Appearance: Pours well, has a nice golden color.

Smell: Nice natural blueberry aroma

Taste: Good blueberry aftertaste. The pack says "Fresh" and I realize that its not always going to come through in bottled beer. It was good for what it was, and I would consider purchasing it on tap.

Poured golden, with decent carbonation, and a very pronounced white head. The smell fits the style...overpoweringly blueberry. However, while the taste starts off with a full round blueberry flavor, the finish is abrupt, dry, and imbalanced, with a lingering unpleasant aftertaste. The mouthfeel is expectedly thin with average carbonation. The finish in this beer kills it for me.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass.

Pours a clear gold, with 1 1/2 fingers of eggshell-white foamy head. Retains with a soft creamy layer, that leaves a decent amount of fizzy lacing down the sides of the glass. Wow, no shortage of blueberries in the aroma. It has a dense sweetness to it, that while not exactly feeling artificial or anything, still seems to hang just a bit heavy in the nostrils. Some light floral hops try and help cut this some, but this is still pretty fruity and thick in the nose.

The taste is sweet and lightly toasted pale malt grains, with the blueberries being much more restrained and balanced than what was in the nose. Very pleasant, adding a gentle fruitiness to the proceedings. Some light prickly hops run through this, drying the backend out. The mouthfeel is lighter bodied, with a softer and bubbly feel to the carbonation up front. This then gives way to a much crisper carbonation in the back, giving this some extra presence in the mouth.

Not bad at all. Despite the aroma coming off as a bit too heavyshanded, this ended up being a fairly tasty and refreshing Blueberry Ale.

I actually enjoy a good fruit beer every once in awhile. I have fond memories of my first Pyramid Apricot Ale back when I worked in Berkeley.

A- Moderate pour from a botle into Stone 11th anni pint glass. A bright & clear brassy gold color. Good 1 inch white silky foamy head, recedes without any lacing. Leaves a thin cap. Plenty of random streamers throughout.

S- This smells just like rel blueberries to me. Slight hint of biscuit. Not complex, but as advertised.

T- Once again, straight blueberry upfront, maybe not as strong as the nose though. A little more caramel biscuit, but not much more than the nose. No hops, or etoh here.

M- It almost feels creamy ast first, then the crisp carbonation takes over. Light bodied. I don't get any fruit juice resin, or aftertaste.

D- While I am not going to drink this beer, or fruit beers in general, all the time- as far as fruit beers go this one is awesome. So easy to drink, refreshing. Definetly a summer (or end of summer)treat. I'm not including sours or the like in this statement- but I would rate this as one of my favorite fruit beers. I do really like blueberries too, so I may be biased.

Pours a dark orangish yellow with a tall white head that fades quickly. The smell is strong and inviting, the smell of blueberries immediately fills the room when you start pouring. Some other sweet and tart smells are present. The taste starts somewhat sweet with the blueberries fresh on the tongue. The blueberry stays strong throughout with some slight malt flavor coming through. The aftertaste stays with the theme, yet is more subtle and subdued. The mouthfeel is medium light with a nice smooth feel and nice carbonation. The beer is one sided, but done well, so the beer doesn't get annoying. This one is an easy drinker, not the best session beer, I wouldn't want more than a few, but definitely an enjoyable fruit beer.

Tried this as part of the mixed 12 pack from FreshDirect.

Great smell of bluberries and nice amber coloring. Taste was a bit flat for me. However, this is definitely an easy-drinking beer that youcoudl throw back a few of and feel A-OK. Not my cup of tea though.

A: Apple juice colored with a little bit of head that quickly dissipates.

S: Tart blueberries, and a biscuity aroma.. Kinda like a Blueberry pop-tart.

T: Crisp, tart, malty, the blue berry comes through in the back, subtle, but noticeable.

M: Lots of carbonation, but other than that a fairly thin feel to it, which is not bad considering the style and alc %.

D: Good for a nice hot day, a cool, crisp and fresh session beer.

Served on-tap at Ruby Tuesday in Waterbury, Conn.

A: Poured a bright, bubbly golden straw yellow with a thin fizzy head of carbonation which left little to no lace.

S: Smells faintly of Quaker blueberry oatmeal and some metallic grains.

T: Taste is fairly light and clean. A bit grainy and fizzy malt sweetness at first with the initial blueberry flavor before a fuller fruit flavor takes control of the palate. Not overbearing and just the right amount of berry sweetness to refresh.

M: Mouthfeel is crisp, clean dry and fizzy.

D: A great low ABV summer fruit beer that satisfies like a crisp, clean lager but doesn't kill you with a funky fake fruit flavor. A lot of alliteration in this review, wonder why?

Had this beer on tap at a little cafe in Brooklyn during a late brunch.

A: average, just a little golden, clear, with a white head. not too impressive, but not bad.

S: blueberries, but not heavily. like blueberry water or something.

T: toasty with some bitter notes, and of course, the blueberries. Not too heavy with the fruitiness though- enough to earn the name, but it wasn't overly sweet or sticky. Really nicely balanced.

F: good, crisp, would have been much better really cold in a bottle on a hot day. slightly more carbonated than I usually like.

D- fairly drinkable, but again, would have been better in a different setting.

Pretty decent beer. Will definitely buy it again when I'm looking for a light, refreshing beverage.

Truly a solid fruit beer. Beautiful clean look to it with a nice white head. The aroma is of fresh blueberries, the flavor is one to savor with its blueberry introduction and a nice finish. Really take your time with this one.

One of the better blueberry ales out there, for my tastes anyway. Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into my shaker glass. Appears a clear golden yellow color with about an inch of fluffy, bone colored head. The head fades into a thin layer after a few moments. Some blueberry beers taste like blueberry Hubba Bubba bubble gum, if you can remember that from the 80's. Not this one, though. The blueberry aroma and flavor seem natural. Notes of bready wheat and mildly bitter hops are also here in check. Crisp drinking with ample carbonation. If you dig blueberry ales, this is a tasty one.

Served out of the bottle into glass, Real cold.

Appearance- Dark cloudy golden color, head disappears quickly. Beautiful color and hue for an ale.

Smell- Real strong blueberry aroma, notice right away when pouring.

Taste- Real smooth strong blueberry taste but not enough to hide the taste of the actual ale. Not even the slightest bit of bitterness, and great after taste that begs for you to drink more.

Mouthfeel- The longer it's in your mouth the more you get the true flavor of the beer. Real strong berry taste, not to carbonated. Perfect combination of flavors. Slight citrus flavor mixed with a real fresh blueberry taste.

Drinkability- Real easy to drink beer, full of flavor. Grab your self a six of this and relax and most of all ENJOY. You won't regret buying.

Thought I was ordering the Toasted Lager (didn't read the fine print), so I was disappointed off the bat:
A: Simple darkish gold color, barely any head which disappeared quickly, but that may have just been because of the ineptitude of the bartenderess.
S/T: Blueberry, blueberry, and a slight malty character, maybe a secondary citrus.
M/D: Thin on the mouth, and more blueberry than I care to associate with beer, but a unique experience. It's too much of the same thing for too long with minimal complexity.

My wife loves blueberry beer and this is one of her favorites. She let me have a 'taster' of one of these the other day.

Color is a pale light amber, with medium foam. The smell hits you right of the bat with - what else - blue berries! Theres other stuff going on there as well, but the fruit rules to roost.

The taste is surprisingly well balanced for the smell - the berries are there, but they don't take over. Instead they balance nicely into a very drinakble and enjoyable brew. Not as great as the Toasted Lager, but an enjoyable change of pace from Long Island.
