Cool label, cool name. This IPA is bound to attract hopheads. The twist off cap was somewhat of a letdown for me, I just don't understand the reasoning behind using this over your normal tightly sealed craft beer cap.
A - Pours a surprisingly clear straw golden color with just about half finger of some off-white head. Lots of carbonation evident bubbling up. One of the most clear IPAs I have ever poured, doesn't appear any different than your normal domestic macro.
S - Lots of sweet nutty malt and citrus hops. Some earthy/piney notes in there as well.
T - Balanced and refreshing. Lots of sweet malt up front that rides out to somewhat of a disjointed hop profile. It's not overly hopped for an IPA and what is there is mostly grapefruit hops, and yet it's so light and quenching that it is still pretty good. Not your normal heavily hopped IPA, maybe more of an APA in my book.
M - A bit thin and watery, but the carbonation is spot on.
O - Pretty light for an IPA but still very well balanced and pleasing to drink. The alcohol level is very well hidden and may bite you on the ass due to the drinkability of this beer.
