From bottle to pint glass, a nice 1.5 finger ivory-colored head. Some thick lacing. Color a rich brick-amber.
Aroma a pleasing fruity caramel malt. Rich and well balanced.
Taste of heavy malts with some lingering bitterness but not overwhelming. What bitterness there is rapidly disappears. I prefer strong bitter hops in my IPAs so I'm slightly disappointed. But the balance of malt and hops makes up for any lack of bitter flavor. A background tone of pine is a nice addition. Altogether a fine tasting IPA.
Mouthfeel just right for the taste - moderate viscosity sits well on the tounge with good after wash.
Drinkability is good: goes down easy without a feeling of heavy bombardment. A border line light crisp feel that contrasts with the beverage's mouthfeel.
This is a good IPA that I would not mind trying again. I'd recommend it as a sunny Sunday afternoon pick-me-up deck supplement.

Why do I think a slightly hoppy Bud Light. Better than Coors but not by much. Very disappointed. I really would have been better off with a Bud Light or Coors and saved about five bucks! I would not recommend this beer at all. It's the first High Point I've tried and probably the last.

A: Pale amber in color; slightly cloudy in glass; minimal head; left heavy lacing on glass
S: Faint citrus hoppiness; slight grassy notes; not pleasant
T: Nothing to distinguish this ale; a bit of a hop bite at first followed by an unpleasant aftertaste - almost astringent
M: Fairly watery mouthfeel
O: Generally disappointing - was hoping for better; nothing distinguishing about this beer
