Our flagship and most popular brew, Toasted Lager is the best American amber Lager you’ll ever taste.
To back up that claim, we use six different grains to perfect a balanced flavor of malt and hops, and a special proprietary lager yeast to give Toasted Lager an exceptional, long-lasting smooth finish that’s meant to be enjoyed year-round. Pairs perfectly with fresh seafood...or any food for that matter.

Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a golden amber color with a two finger white head. The head has a decent level of retention, fading eventually to give a medium level of lacing.
Smell – The aroma is light overall and consists mainly of a grainy and lightly toasted aroma mixed with a little bit of brown sugar.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and roasty flavor. Up front there is a lighter brown sugar taste as well. While present, the sugar is light and it dries out quickly to leave a rather drier taste. As the sugar flavors dwindle more roasted flavors come to the tongue. A light caramel flavor however begins working its way into the tongue. In the end a toastier bready and lightly sweetened flavor are left to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner to medium side with a carbonation level that is rather average. Good for the style, but nothing exceptional.
Overall – A decent lager. It has a nice more roasted flavor with a decent semi-sweet, then drier, then semi-sweet profile. Nothing to exceptional, but rather easy drinking and at least worth one try.

12 oz can exp date 13 April 2024 into a 12 oz tumbler.
L: SRM 4 Pours a slightly radiant clear orange gold color with a slightly soapy & creamy 1/4"+ off white head that recedes to edge foam, steady carbonation bubbles, and good lightly clingy lacing.
S: Grains, very light floral esters, background malts.
T: Light malts, lightly toasted grains, gently bitter, very gently sweet, has a lightly pale aftertaste.
F: Very lightly brisk then smooth with a medium-light body and a medium-short lightly drying finish. It has a slightly creamy sensation and flows easily.
O: Very well balanced with an enticing finish that brings a quenching taste and feel. I'm happy with this beer and found it to drink smoothly from a small glass rather than a full can pour. It is simple and EZ to drink and is good in its style.

I swear this beer has changed since i've had it first in 2010. This is a filling, decent looking, off tasting, wheat lager. In my opinion, the wheat is meant to give the beer a certain look and perhaps lace, but it ends up ruining the taste for me. Leave the wheat to the ale yeast. Would not revisit unless offered by friendly folk.

Draught pint at The Brass Tap here in Baltimore: NOT my typical style, but w/triple-digit heat-index a lighter & crisper brew seemed like a good idea. AND it was a Happy-Hour option. Under similar conditions I'd definitely do it again. Anyone know what the "toasted" part of the name refers to? (The malts?)
