Clear copper-tinted gold with a decent head of off-white foam that dissolves to a patchy covering. Sweet, bready malt, clean caramel, and lagery-ish-ness in the nose. Clean, simple, toasted malt sweetness. Caramel, light fruit, and subtle earthiness. Medium-light body. There are other, better Vienna lagers available around here that make picking this up again unlikely. Not terrible though...

Pours a crystal clear toasted straw color with a fizzy white head that quickly settled into a light cap.

The aroma is neutral, not much there. Slight toasted malt and a touch of grain. Nada from the hops. It doesn't smell buttery which is a plus. I have gotten this from both the bottle and tap.

The taste is of a light toasted malt, light grain. A touch bready with some mineral notes and light general fruitiness. Some grassy hop bitterness. A poor man's version of the brooklyn lager or SABL.

The feel is light and fizzy. A nice crisp feel and dry finish which this style of lager should have. Good alternative to the macro/adjunct shite. Some bitterness in the finish.

I must say I like this beer much more out of the can. Its not buttery but crisp and easily drinkable.

a clean copper pour with 2 fingers of off white head.
smells of yeast, banana, roasted nuts, hints of sourness.

tastes very copper-like.. almost like a penny... very acidic/sour - checked for a date, and they don't put one on their bottles... contacted them and it seems like i got a bad batch :(

i DO get slight tastes of roasted walnuts though in the backbone.

mouthfeel is champagne like.. very carbonated, light body, feels nice going down, but the sourness is repulsive.

trying to be fair with this score since i got a bad batch AND i have had this before on tap and don't remember it tasting anything like this.

12oz bottle from the IGA Potsdam NY for 1.99

Appearance - Clear amber colour with an average size frothy white coloured head. There is an average amount of carbonation showing and there is some faint lacing. The head lasted for 4-5 minutes.

Smell - Malts, breads/grains, hay, corn, caramel

Taste & Mouth - There is an average amount of carbonation and I can taste malts and corn mixed with some light hops and a caramel sweetness. It ends with a sweet caramel aftertaste with a bit of a lingering bitterness.

Overall - Pretty good stuff here. It reminded me of some of the cream ales I've had recently. It's very drinkable and I'd have no issues polishing off a 6-pack. It's worth a try.
