16 ounce pint - $6.00 at Taco Mac in Canton, Georgia.

Appearance: Lightly hued copper-gold body featuring good clarity underneath a small, fine, white head -- though they did pour this thing to very top.

Smell: A sweetish aroma of (very) lightly toasted, bready malts and caramel candy with low, light notes of spice and fruit.

Taste: Lightly bready, faintly biscuity malts with an initial opening salvo of sweet caramel. Minor spicy hop character, just a bit of citrus in there, too, and with a relatively light bitterness. Quick flash of baked apple. Renewed accents of toasted grain, bread, and the biscuit. All the while, there's that caramelly sweetness, and still, on the finish, it remains sweet.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation.

Overall: A tasty, satisfyingly refreshing brew, though, for the price, I might have to give the edge to SABL.

A - Poured out a clear, copper color with a one-finger, off-white head of bubbly foam. The head was relatively short-lived and left some sudsy lace on the glass.

S - It smelled toasty with some grassy hop presence.

T - Toasty with some caramel and toffee. It had a mild hop bitterness.

M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied lager.

O - This is a pretty good vienna lager. I had heard about it for years. Glad I finally tried it.

12oz bottle from 6-pack

A- Pours a translucent golden brown, about a half finger of white head that dissipates fast, layered lacing.

S- A little bit of a different smell then I was expecting. Hints of floral, booze, some malts, a little bit sweet, not overly appealing but not bad.

T- Slightly sweet with a hint of vanilla, some malts, malts give it a slightly toasted taste but not too strong of a taste.

M- Smooth, drinkable, fairly refreshing, average carbonation.

O- This beer was fairly average for a lager. I wasn't a huge fan, but it wasn't bad. A little bit different then most lagers, especially in terms of the taste.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a shaker glass. The beer pours a copper color with about a 1.5 inch off white head. This beer has great clarity. Other than a bit of sweet malt, not much aroma at all. The taste is clean, a small amount of bitterness on the finish, without any fruity notes at all. Pine is the dominant flavor, along with some malt. It has a decent mouthfeel. Overall the beer does not pack much flavor, but that may be true to style. i belive I would go with Samuel Adams Boston Lager, as a preference, over this beer.
