Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Greenport mug.

A: Pours a light caramel colour with a cap of white head.

S: Thin, bready malt aromas with a strong metallic aroma.

T: A bit light in the flavour department. Caramel notes come through and the hops provide a nice little bitter balance, but the flavours are just a little too light.

D: This is, however, extremely drinkable stuff and the balance is pretty spot on.

Overall: It lacks the bitterness of American incarnations and the crisp, sharpness of German ones, but this is a decent Vienna lager and its popularity (in NYC) makes it a great substitute for the BMC stuff that you usually have to choose from in crappy bars.

Shot glass-flight (class)

Pour-Tons of small bubbles, light golden brown, creamy head, runny and fizzy lacing

Nose-Hint of caramel malts, some fruit, some hops, cereal grains?

Palate-A little bit salty, hint of bitter and some sour. Light malt flavors, light citrus, vanilla towards the finish, light grain flavor.

Body-Smooth, light, crisp, refreshing. I like it, very easy going session beer.

If you like Yuengling you will love this beer. And you'll never touch that beer again. Where Yuengling lacks Toasted makes up the toasted hops make for a great finish and little to no after taste. This beer is the Ideal pizza beer. this beer is my go to beer. I hope every one everyone enjoys this beer as much as I do.

A: Slightly cloudy deep golden with a thick white head

S: Slight hint of woodiness, nice barley notes. Descent hop aroma as well

T: Very prevelant hop-fruitiness, some bread notes, mild bitterness. Also, mild carbonation and a very short finish make this extremely drinkable

M: Light

O: Honestly, this is just okay. I was hoping for a fuller style of lager with this beer, but it just didn't meet that expectation. I would, however, recommend this brew for a newcomer to the beer world, as it is highly drinkable

Blue Point Toasted Lager pours a deep gold. Its bright white head has decent retention.

Its aroma is slight, but has toasted barley notes and hints of pine from the hops.

The taste is extremely disjointed and goes from one extreme to another. It begins with similar toasted barley notes as the nose. The middle of the palate gives a quick glimpse of hoppy bitterness, before any inkling of intensity is washed away. The finish is faint but mostly consists of light bread notes.

Its mouthfeel is medium light, with a smaller than average amount of carbonation for the style.

Overall, the beer is fairly sessionable. Seems like the perfect beer for a drinker entering craft beer.

A very solid lager offering, both winter and summer drinking. Easy-drinking and very little linger. The flavor is well-balanced and there is little to no hop bite. Also, very easy to find on tap or in a bodega in New York City. One of those beers you can drink one or ten!!

Tried this lager on tap at Erbellis in Portage MI. Pours with thin white head with thin lacing. True golden color. Not much aroma coming off this beer. I can pick up a faint grain and malt smell. Clean overall. Great taste of toasted bread no wonder they call it a toasted lager. Easy to drink light and a little bitter bite. Better than your macro lagers. Give it a try it is better than the reviews.

Pours a clear, light gold color with a big white head that fades fast and leaves minimal lacing.

The aroma is slightly nutty with some toasty bread notes and light earthy hops.

Clean malt flavor, nutty and grainy with some toasty qualities. Smooth, light and clean.

Very clean and boring, slightly watery

Overall, easy drinking boring beer.

A:Pours a copper color with a small head that fades quickly with some lacing

S: primarily a toasted aroma with some grain sweetness.

T: Nice malt flavor with some caramel mixed in. Has a mild bitterness and a clean finish.

F: Fairly medium body, smooth and a mild creamy texture.

O: Easy drinker, Not an overpowering beer. A nice change of pace . Seems to go best with food.

A- Light amber with a small white head. Looks like a slightly darker yeungling.

S- Toast and cinnamon though nothing very strong.

T- The toast and spice from the nose meld with nuts and a light earthy character that seems to come from both the hops and yeast, a good balance.

M- A bit thin but it has a little more body than most light lagers..

D- Highly enjoyable and refreshing, this is definitely a worthwhile beer if nothing mind blowing.

I haven't had Toasted Lager in a bottle. Because it is a local brew, it is plentiful on tap on Long Island. As a Vienna lager style, I think it nearly rivals Sam Adams. It even surpasses some big name ales like Bass as a good, everyday kind of beer - at least from my experiences drinking it on tap at places like Katie Mc's in Huntington. Here is a beer with good, deep golden copper color, not highly aromatic, but the taste is clean, easygoing, and yes, toasted, which gives it the character it needs. I've had it before, and I'll have it again.

Super surprised by this one, but a local watering hole by me had on tap so I had to try it which led me to pick up a 6 of it.

Pours dark with a very thin. Lots of carbonation with a medium to light body.

Buttery and toasty tasting and goes great with food. Drinks super smooth.
