This double IPA packs a big punch, and no, we’re not going to apologize for it.

No Apologies is our double IPA. To ensure every batch is as good as the last, we selectively brew it in small batches from the finest European malts and five varieties of American hops. Its earthy, dry-hop aroma finishes with a caramel sweetness. If you don’t like it, that’s your problem - we're not gonna apologize.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle dated 01/20/16 so it is over 6 months old on July 12, 2016. My bad.

It is a handsome looking orange-amber tone with a modest white head. Lots of bubbly carbonation.

The aroma has an herbal, spicy, and orange zest sensation but given its age the stale breaded malts are coming more forward than they might have back in February.

Medium to above medium body.

The taste has become a slight malt bomb given its age although I recognized a sweet fruity and bitter spicy after taste. No booze for 10%. I might rate it higher if I try it fresher next time.

Appearance: Pours a rick amber color with a nice, foamy head. Very clear, slight lace. (3.75)

Smell: This beer has a very citrusy, hoppy, and earthy aroma. (3.75)

Taste: The taste starts out with sweet twang followed by a thick, bitter happiness that melts away into some citrus notes and a bittersweet caramel finish. (4.0)

Mouthfeel: Crisp, dry, and uncarbonated. Very smooth. Light. The sweetness in a sip stays on the tip of your tongue. (4.25)

Overall: A great beer, could see myself throwing back a few of these on a nice summer day. Light beer with huge, consistent flavor. (4.0)

A: crystal clear; bronze colored; 1 finger moussy, ivory head that receded to a thin collar; very nice lacing;

S: earthy and floral;

T: ripe orange for a moment, then floral all the way; relatively sweet, but a touch of bitterness at the end;

M: medium bodied; light carbonation; hides the ABV well;

O: really smooth;
