A well carbonated beer with a light copper color and a pretty thick white head. The above average carbonation helps keep the head afloat for quite awhile.

Malty aroma

A good malty brew somewhat like a vienna style.
Some bread and toasted malts too.
A bit course or abrassive with a dry finish.
All in all a good pleasing brew

Served at Union Jack's Manatawny

Poured a clear golden amber with a nice cream colored head, good retention, and good sticky lacing. Smells of rye malts and a grassy/citrus hop combo. Tastes of lite grapefruit with a nice sweet malty backbone and a fresh cut grass finish. Medium in body with good carbonation and a dry bitter finish. A good balance of flavors though pushing a little more towards the hops end of the spectrum. A good Spring brew, easy to drink.

Twelve ouncer poured into a pint glass. Grabbed in a mixed six offering.

Pours medium amber, mostly light, with touches of foam. Malty rich caramel smell, some toffee. Hearty malt taste with a good firm hop. Nice bite at close, really pops the flavor.

Overall another good one from BP.

Pours a lighter fluffy but 1.5 finger head that fades at a med pace, over clear toasty amber orange colored beer and lacing.

Nose has light grassy hops, touch spicy hops, light sweet malts, lighter overall.

Taste has some bitterness, light grassy mild earthy and touch spicy hops, chewy hops, some light sweet malts, a very slight copper taste, reddish malts, and a nice bitterness overall. Finishes slightly dry and decent bitterness, little syrupy and sticky, light spicy and grassy hops lingering.

Mouth is med bodied, decent carb.

Overall not bad, nice hops, nice malt balance, doesn't do a whole lot but a nice overall balanced pale ale.

Reviewed from notes. Poured from 12 oz bottle into pint glass.

A: Deep copper color. Lacy head.

S: Soft hop aroma (citrus).

T: Balanced taste, easy to drink. Finish stays in your mouth for a few beats with mild bitterness.

M: Medium body for the style, a little thin overall. Good amount of carbonation.

O: Certainly nothing exciting, but decent. An easy beer to grab out of the fridge on a warm afternoon when it's available.

Poured from 12oz bottle into 16oz Samuel Adams Perfect Pint glass.

Appearance: Light copper in color with a large, slightly orange-tinted head that dissipates pretty quickly and leaves behind a lot of spots of lace.

Smell: Smells a lot like a pilsner- it has some sweet grain/malt aromas with citrus and a bit of a piney aroma.

Taste: Begins sweet and somewhat citrusy, rounding out to a fairly strong hop bitterness backed up by bready flavors.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with balanced carbonation and a dry finish.

Drinkability: A good beer that definitely seems like it would fit well with the spring. This is something I wouldn't get excited about, but it is a good beer to drink during the springtime.

I put my Brooklyn Pennant Ale back on the shelf and bought this on a whim. Then my wife yelled at me because she was waiting at the register.

The beer has a nice copper color with good lacing and an off white head.

The smell is malty with some new car hops thrown in. Biscuity vinyl hops.

Taste: Round malt is offset and broken by a sharp, slightly sour hop finish. The final taste is a sour flash and slight puckering bitterness

Mouthfeel/Drinkability- Slightly peppery carbonation. The vinyl taste hinders drinkability.

Pours a hazy orange body with a thin white head, which does not last. Spotting not lacing the glass. Aroma of citrusy malt. Taste is citrusy with a good hop bite. Very acidic aftertaste that lingers a bit too long. Not in line to be one of my favorites!

Split a growler with friends while BBQ over the weekend.

A - Poured a light copper with a decent sized white fluffy head into an imperial pint glass.

S - A bouquet of floral and piney hops, with an earthy malt nose to complement.

T - A solid APA with great balance and a bready finish.

M - A great light / medium body, semi creamy and very balanced.

D - A highly drinkable APA, solid for the category. Blue Point makes some pretty good beer and this is no exception. Recommended.
