Recieved via JoeyBeerBelly for winning the Sunday Night Football Squares LIF week 17. A Big Thanks to the most loyal SNFS LIF participant!!!
Poured into a New Belgium glass a transparent golden burnt orange with a one finger white foam head. Great lacing all the way down.
I have to admit, I have no freaking idea what rye smells like. That being said, when I smell this beer the first word that comes to mind is dry. I don't really know what that means but that's the sense I get.
The taste has the sour that I know Rye tastes like. There's a hint of hoppy bitterness mixed in that works rather nicely. The palette ends with a dry finish, kinda what my nose predicted.
