A: Pours a crystal clear orange/copper/brown in color with moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a half finger tall beige head that reduces to a small thin patch with an extremely thin film covering the majority of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon and nutmeg) along with some lighter notes of toasted malts. Very light amounts of earthy hops. There is some sweetness to the overall smell for this beer.

T: Very similar to the smell, the taste of this beer features toasted malts and some toasted/roasted pumpkin with a light amount of sweetness. After that, there are mild flavors of pumpkin pie spices - primarily cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish features some earthy hops contributing some light to moderate bitterness that fades quickly.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.

O: Easy to drink with a decent balance between some sweetness upfront and bitterness in the finish. Not over the top with with pumpkin pie spices and a decent pumpkin flavor.

clear burnt amber hue with a good sized sticky off white head. smells of pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice, a little light.

light on body and flavor with brisk effervescence. Honestly tastes like water with cinnamon and nutmeg in it with an Oliver twist sized portion of pumpkin. Not good. The only respectable thing about this beer is that you can't detect the 6% abv despite how thin the flavors are.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 8/10/2012. Pours fairly crystal clear orange amber color with a nice 2 finger dense cream colored head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Good foamy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, caramel, toast, and graham cracker. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and decent strength. Taste of biscuit, caramel, graham cracker, toast; with light amounts of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, and other spices. Lingering notes of caramel, graham cracker, biscuit, toast, pumpkin, and spices on the finish for a short bit. Solid flavor balance with a decent amount of spices. Fairly dry on the finish with no cloying flavors. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with only a small warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very solid pumpkin ale. Some well balanced flavors, but it definitely could use more pumpkin and spices in my opinion. They took the safe route on this one to make sure it wasn’t overly cloying on the spices. As a result, this is very easy to drink and quite enjoyable.

Picked this up at Wegman's enjoyed chilled in a mug.

The color is deep bronzed with dark amber shade of light brown sugar with two finger band of cream and thick lace. The smell is herbal with light woodiness and hint of spice up front with mild vegetal note with slight fruity odor mixing with sweet malt and clove. The feel is spicy and dry with bitterness on the tip of the tongue with a sutble vegetal slick and oily texture with sweet glimpses but moderately high carbonation and bitter dominance with semi dry finish

The flavor is nicely spiced with some clove and cinnamon elements with a more herbal piney hop and vegetal taste with some woodiness in the middle of the palate with slight hop bitterness echoing the spice with peppery lingering quality and slight vegetal bellpepper green quality with some semisweet malt flavor w/ hints of ginger and toasted grain in the finish. Overall a fairly bitter spicy version of a fall seasonal seems like a pumpkin ale with an american pale ale that is pretty hoppy as the base which is interesting and drinkable.

ST: 12oz poured into a pint glass.

A: Light brown with an orange tinge. It has a half-a-finger white head with little retention.

S: Pumpkin, earth, allspice, and nutmeg.

T: Pumpkin at the start and some spice in the finish (rather standard)

M: Medium and dry

O: Nothing exciting here, but nothing bad either. It is exceedingly average. A little pumpkin and a spice bite on the finish. The malt is present and demanding.

On tap at Three Nick's in Dearborn, MI. Pours a copper/orange, dark amber color with a moderate head that remained along the rim of the beer for a while. The smell was very nice: pumpkin spice, nutmeg, cinnamon - reminds me of a nice Thanksgiving desert. Tastes of slight yeast, lots of malts, and lovely pumpkin and nutmeg spices that really start to come out as the beer gets warmer. Moderate amount of carbonation and a thin-medium body give this beer a decent mouthfeel, nothing too special.

I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin beers, but this is definitely one of my personal favorites. It's one of the few that I can drink more than one of (and have)!

A - Pours with one finger of off-white foam on top of a clear, amber-brown body. The head settles fairly quickly and leaves light lace.

S - A spicy aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Notes of toasted grain and caramel.

T - Sweet malt up front with some toffee. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove in the middle. A finish of toasted grain and dry caramel.

M - Medium body, moderate carbonation, and a balanced finish.

D - This is a pretty standard pumpkin ale, pie spices and little else. Not bad, but not something I would want more than one of.
