On tap at Burgatory on 12-4-13

A - Clear yellow gold with 1.5 fingers of white foamy head light on lacing
S - Pineapple, white grape, mango, papaya, peach, light sweet pale malt. Unreal.
T - Lots of fresh tropical fruit flavors as mentioned in the aroma, crackery malt, a hint of some pine.
M - Very dry, medium bodied.
O - Excellent IPA, best use of mosaic I've had so far.

Growler filled at Yorktown Beer and soda in Yorktown, NY

Pours near clear lighter amber, with a medium honey hue. Nice and tiny eggshell bubbles make up the moderate head. Leaves quality looking fine fields of sheeting.

Grapefruit and apricots on the nose.

Quite enjoyable AIPA, wth grainy hops, grapefruit and pinapple fruity notes balancing out the honey malts. Delicious creation from Blue Point, well done. Glad to get to try a fresh and tasty growler of this one.

i haven't been this blown away by a beer in years.

The beer was on cask and had just came in so it was as fresh as could be.

The first thing was it looked awesome with a big pillowy white head.

Then the nose. This is where this beer made me say holy *#%$. I stopped and smelled for 2 minutes before i even sipped. It was floral and red grapefruit and tropical fruits. just so complex and amazing.

The taste didn't disappoint and followed suit. with passion fruit. sweet grapefruit citrus. there was really no discernible hop bitterness. just oily and floral. maybe the cask subdued the bitterness but this is why it was really unique and great

mouthfeel was excellent and the cask may have had something to do with the experience. it was perfect just barely cool temp so it really opened up all the flavors and mouth feel.

this is an outstanding beer super fresh on cask and I cant wait to try it on standard tap. Cask will be hard to beat though.

A: The beer is crystal clear yellowish amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that quickly died down, leaving lacing on the surface and a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderately strong aromas of tropical fruit are present in the nose along with some notes of citrus. Hints of pine also become perceptible as the beer warms up.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of fresh hop flavors such as grapefruit, gooseberries, oranges and mangoes with bits of pine towards the finish. The hops also contribute a moderate amount of bitterness, which is most noticeable in the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: For a single hop IPA, this beer offers a lot of complexities in the smell and taste. It's quite drinkable because it's not too bitter.

Isn't life surprising. I live in NY. Once for over a year near Blue Point Brewery. Never particularly cared for them...to put it mildly. They would surprise you from time to time, but to me, it appeared as a micro/macro brewery. Blue Point is huge in NY.

This one is a slam dunk or grand slam, or better yet 2in1. Absolutely phenomenal. I want to get more, but I hear it's a limited/one time release? WTF? Does it cost too much to brew. Why would you not flood the market with this gem? I am not the best with describing particular qualities of beer, but this one's got them all. It's just a real quality brew. Pumpkin Ale is nice but let's get this out there and see how the brand evolves.

On draft at Tap and Barrel, Smithtown, NY.

Poured a light clean copper hue with a one finger foamy white head cthere was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured elements of pineapple and apricot.

The taste offered tropical fruit and a bit of pine stop a clean grainy malt.

The mouthfeel was typical of the style with a clean dry finish.

Overall a tasty, fruity IPA.
