A - Golden amber with with good clarity. Nice fluffy white head and really nice retention.

S - Huge nose - floral, citrus, tropical fruit.

T - Fresh and oily - citrus, fruity, slightly dank. Easy drinking and crisp mouth feel.

O - Very solid session IPA - I will definitely get this again. Stacks up with some good company in this category.

I'm pretty stoked about this 'session' IPA. It has a great, hoppy, citrus flavor that belies it's low alcohol content. The nose and taste are fantastic, and thus will be my summer backyard party beer. This is one of my favorite Blue Point beers and I hope they make it one of their year round products.

Well done, Blue Point!

On-tap 4/7/2014 at Doherty’s Ale House, in Warwick, RI served in a tapered pint glass.

A: The beer is a light gold color, with a large foamy white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains floral hops, citrus and light caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of citrus and caramel. Then a strong, earthy and floral hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a decent sessionable IPA to drink for while.

Date: 3/30/14
Location: City Swiggers
Glassware: Tulip
Appearance: Pours gold to orange with a slightly larger then thumb size pour. It's slightly hazy but almost possible to see through. There is a load of carbonation running up to the head.
Aromatics: There is a lot of fruit in there- grapefruit, melon. I'm hit by a lot of honey as well. It moves into the bitterness of hops.
Flavor: The first thing that strikes me about her beer is the creaminess that brings about the hoppiness of the beer. On the back of my tongue I get the fruits. The honey is throughout.
Finish: The finish is carried by the creaminess and bitterness of the mosaic hops. There are hints of resin and a touch of the honey.
