Trafalgar has sourced local hop growers to produce this very special ale. Fresh hops are picked, rushed to the brewery and added to the beer all in the same day in a process called ‘wet hopping’. Freshly harvested hops impart much different flavour and aroma qualities to beer.

A - Pours a murky golden brown, finger of head which quickly dissipates and leaves no lacing.
S - Nose is dominated by bready grainy hops, buttery notes and light caramel.
T - A weird bubblegum hop flavour with the bready caramel, grassy notes, and the finish has a slight bitter citrus flavour.
M - Lighter bodied, prickly and a touch of dryness.
O - Overall another crappy offering from Trafalgar. I'm a sucker for punishment and an eternal optimist, but I really have to stop buying their product as I'm only supporting their sales and contributing to their existence.

Appearance: It has a nice semi-cloudy light golden/orange color to it. It has a nice off-white head that dies down moderately and leaves some lacing.
Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of grainy malts, some caramel, light spices, citrus and grassy/earthy hops.
Taste: Like the aromas, it has a grainy character with light caramel. The hops are more present here adding some citrus and an earthy bitterness.
Mouthfeel: It has a medium carbonation with an okay overall balance and feel.
Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with decent flavors and aromas. Not something I'd buy again.
