Ceramic bottle from the LCBO: Poured a bubbly golden color mead with a large white bubbly head with minimal retention. Aroma of stale honey notes with weird dry hops is not really pleasant. Taste is dryer then expected with weird dry hops notes and light stale honey notes. I should learn to stop buying beers for Trafalgar and no their mead is also quite awful.

Was nothing special but for the bottle. The nose was sweet and got you a little excited to try this brew but once I took a drink I was let down. The mouth feel was light and watery with non of the honey aromas I experienced in the smell. Another below average beer from Trafalgar

Purchased at the LCBO for around $4.00 or so for a 375ml bottle. Served at 4deg C in a draught glass

A- Opens well and pours no head at all. Barely a bubble to be found. Cork was good. Very dark gold color. Clear

S- Sickly sweet. Hint of peach and caramel

T- Light for the alcohol percentage. Has a sickly sweet taste with tons of sugar.

M- No carbonation at all. Very low on the tongue scale. Slimy at the end

O- Taking the other one back. Not my cup of tea. Hope this is not the way mead is

Food Pairing

This ok drink went well with..... Channa Palak. A smoking hot Indian dish couldn't stand up to this syrupy beverage.

Enjoy
