This is my second Heartland Brewery review, also went to the South water-side location for dinner.
Again, a well-lit, really crowded establishment, decor is kind of cool, seems clean and well run.
Beer selection included a lager, a red ale that I tried last time, an IPA and an oatmeal stout, once again in the crowded atmosphere I decided to just sample one repeatedly, seemed the best way to get a taste of the quality in that sort of atmosphere. Can't knock it for being crowded.
I had the lager, it was fine but formulaic, full review forthcoming. The bartender was quick enough but didn't seem impressed with me since I wasn't one of the high rollers like the rest of the people in there. Whatever, to hell with him.
Got my bill and found that the beer was 6.50 a pint, good lord, definitely not worth the price.
Overall, like the other location it seems like a nice place but I could only really try one beer. I will return to sample the rest of the beers.
