Hazy amber/copper colour, one finger white head, lots of lace left on the glass. Smell is of fresh citrus, some pine, pineapple and grapefruit, light floral scents with a good malty backbone as well. Taste is a mixture of malt and hops, pine, sweet floral notes, some citrus, orange peel and grapefruit, very dry bitterness in the finish. Medium carbonation, lightly syrupy and at points pretty slick, medium to full body. Overall its a pretty good effort that looks and smells really good but fails to deliver in terms of taste but i'm sure this will see some tweaks along the way.
The bottle version in stores is so much better than it was in early days on tap. Much more citrus hop and far less sweet, still has a dry bitterness. Getting a bit of buttered bread in the nose form the bottle. This is solid stuff and the rating is the revised rating from the original 3.48 I gave the draft version. Now a staple IPA in my fridge.

473ml can into nonic. date code almost completely smudged off but i remember reading the other cans in stock at the LCBO and it was like D0114 or something so i'm gonna guess that means they were canned on april 1, 2014. enjoyed on may 22, 2014
a: clear copper with tons of floating particles. two fingers of head
s: big pine and tropical fruit notes up front. grapefruit and orange peel afterwards. caramel malt on the back end. nice
t: follows the nose. extremely dank pine up front, followed by modest grapefruit, orange, slight lemon, and big pineapple notes. the bitterness kicks in a bit too early. the malt backbone introduces itself mid-palate and hangs around for quite a while, becoming tastier as the beer warms, though the finish is still bitter and dry with lingering pine from early in the tasting. somewhat unbalanced but the flavours are very nice
m: medium-bodied, very creamy. great carbonation
o: the top of the can reads "over the top hops" and that's far from a lie. try this out if you dig pine bomb IPAs. a very solid brew but i'd take a number of ontario IPAs over this one

Can to glass
Appearance - Pours a cloudy farm orange/amber colour with a great white head that leaves great lacing
Smell - Pine and citrus smells. Hops really come through
Taste - Hoppy, pine, citrus, grapefruit, alcohol is smooth. All the flavours are really well blended together. One doesn't overpower the other.
Overall - Good beer and a well balanced IPA. Nothing special but not bad by any means
