Slightly hazed burnished orange with streams of fine bubbles quickly rising to the top. A three inch head of sizzling popping beige foam sits atop and noisily recedes leaving dimples and craters. The crazy foam doesn't allow me to finish pouring the bottle out, definitely takes away from the experience.
Aroma of sweetish honey malt, pine sap, ripe pear and light brown sugar rises up.
Flavor of chewy clover and honey malt with subtle hints of orange rind, flowers, and spruce. Slight warming in the finish. Notes of wheat malt linger on the palate. I'm enjoying the flavor but rating it just a bit lower since it seems more like a hoppy pale ale than an IPA.
Full and creamy mouthfeel, almost feels a little heavy, very rich. Tasty beer and drinkable, but not what I expected.

Pours a murky orange with plenty of floaties and a thick head.
The smell is bitter and resiny, with a bit of pine and citrus.
Quite resiny on the tongue as well, but balanced by a nice breadiness. Nice bitterness, and a slightly soapy aftertaste.
Nice and soft, medium bodied. Just the right level of carbonation.
Overall, a good, solid west Coast IPA, that is drawn down a little because of it's look.

Nice complex IPA. Great cloudy color, smooth easy to drink flavor. Couldn't find a "brewed on" date on the bomber, but mine was a bit chunky with yeast/hops floating and settling within. I liked it.
