Upon pour from 22 oz. bomber into snifter, I get a waft of supermarket produce section, particularly fresh green apples, raw, powdered bitter chocolate, molasses barrels, sweet chex mix baked in the kitchen with plenty of brown sugar and honeycome, and a pastry-like hop character. Very complex, a joy.
About as black as you can get with a dark caramel brown head that retains well with some swaths of lace.
Campfire-coal-grilled meat and potatoes melds with Mars bars. Wildwater, burnt marshmallows...the whole camping experience is in this bottle. Neither the wood, nor the dark caramel chocolate are overly intense, and the light apple tempers the deeper, darker flavors, making for a relatively light mouthfeel, which actually allows for longer exploration of these flavors before the palate is shot. Alcohol appears to be low to moderate, although not listed. No alcohol burn to speak of. Bitter chocolate turns more acrid and salty towards the end.
An enjoyable beer with lots to explore.

The Beer Republic. Jugando a The Wolf Among Us. En copa Teku. Baatante correcta stout americana, con ricas notas cafetosas, subiendose poco a la cabeza pero con bastante buen cuerpo para su bajo abv

Pours a black color. One inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, slight roasted malt, spicy hops, slight alcohol, and a hint of chocolate. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, slight roasted malt, spicy hops, slight alcohol, and a hint of chocolate. Overall, good appearance, great blend, but lacking depth of body.

A- opaque black with minimal head and foam. Poor lacing on the pint.
S- wood, caramel and coffee notes.
F- coffee, wood and dark caramel flavors
M- creamy and medium bodied. The coffee lingers around in the mouth a bit longer than usual.
O- a good stout and would have it again.

Bottled 4/18/18; drank 8/22/18 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big khaki head; frothy lace.
Fresh earth, cream & black coffee notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Fresh earth & mild cream flavors up front; burnt black coffee notes on the finish. A bit harsh.

Black color, thin white head. No discernible aromas. Strong malt flavors with a delayed finish of burnt wood, which leaves a weird aftertaste. I don’t get any of the caramel, chocolate, or coffee notes the bottle claims.
