The beer comes in a dark brown/black color.
The aroma has tons of honey sweetness along with a bit of bourbon and barrel, but mostly sweet chocolate and roasty malt.
The flavor follows of chocolate fudge, a bourbon barrel vanilla sweetness, along a lingering honey sweetness.
The body is nice and creamy.
This is a really solid beer. Not too much barrel character, but well made and that honey note is very interesting.

A - As black as it can get. Small, mocha head, some mocha lace. Head leaves fast. Pretty. LIke an espresso.
S - Gazinga. Soy, bourbon, heavy malt, booze, wood and god knows what else.
T - Flavor only enriches the smell properties. A fine quality beer.
M - Heavy body, good carb, a bit cloying, but not too bad.
D - Excellent for one. Couldn't do it all night.
