22 oz bomber from Lil Roberts poured into a tulip glass.

A- A cloudy orangish brown ( more orange), one finger head that dissapates quickly

S - Smells delicious. Fruit, vanilla, floral hops.

T - Citrus, topical fruit, oak/bourbon notes,grains,some vanilla

M - Thin,slightly watery

O - An interesting local IPA. Not for the hop heads, but it is well made. An improvement in the mouthfeel would bring this up a notch.

bottle served in a sniffer
A: This beer has a cloudy orange color with a white tan head the head did not retain for very long but it was certainly well carbonated.
S: this is not an overly hoppy smelling IPA. I smell some citrus and tropical fruit.
T: this one is well balanced its a smooth hop flavor that blends nicely with the malt, the tropical fruit comes through in the end adding a really nice sweetness. The finish also allows the hops to linger for a short while which is always nice.
M: This beer has a good smooth mouth feel that neither attacks or underwhelms. The carbonation is good and there are no off flavors and no bad aftertaste.

Overall, This is a really nice approachable IPA that isn't trying to bombard you with hops It would be a great starter IPA for people who say they don't like them. If you want an intense IPA this one is not it. However if you find your self at Bestway in Greensboro, NC you should at least try it out. its good its solid and its on aisle 7.

It would pair well with a Hawaiian Pizza which I will do next time I have a Hawaiian pizza

A: Pours a hazy golden orange in color with light to moderate amounts of gentle visible carbonation and some apricot highlights. The beer has a two finger tall foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a thick film covering the entire surface of the beer with a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of hops - pine, earthy, and lighter amounts of citrus/grapefruit. Underneath there is a biscuit malt body with hints of caramel sweetness. Light to moderate aromas of oak and vanilla.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of biscuit malts with light amounts of caramel sweetness present. There are some light flavors of oak and vanilla from the aging but not sweet... Finally, there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of pine and earthy hops with a light amount of citrus/grapefruit pith hops. Just heavier than moderate amounts of bitterness which linger for quite a while.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate to significant amounts of dryness in the finish.

O: Nothing that is going to blow you away but a very solid IPA that I enjoyed - I would have preferred a little less of the piney bittering hops but it was still quite easy to drink. As a guy that loves to shop on Aisle 7 in the Bestway, I could not pass this one up.

Color is a glowing orange with an attractive head of cream on top. Soft aroma of oak, toffee, and a green hoppiness that evokes pine needles and melons. Flavor is interesting: piney hops, biscuits, subtle vanilla, woody spice, and bitter rind. Creamy feeling, medium bodied. A lot better than expected. Quite nice!
