This is one of the best Saison's I have had thus far. It was poured into a tulip chalice allowed to open up to the air for a few minutes and to allow the yeast to settle a bit. Lots of carbonation and very effervescent. The head grew tall at first but settled into a nice lacing pattern. The color was a beautiful erubescent golden color. Different from others I had tried, maybe from being aged in the Chardonnay barrels. One reason I love this brewery is they really have aging down.
The smell was funky, fruit and clove. This seems to be a solid characteristic of this style.
The taste was fruit, dried apricot, raisin, and something else... Once again a funkiness that I have grown to love about this style and that strong musty clove flavor. This blends well into a sharp clean mouthfeel and a well balanced beer.
Overall it is an awesome beer from this brewery. I wish I had gotten a chance to pick up more, but I with limited funds I couldn't this time around. Hopefully, this isn't a one and done, because these guys have done a fantastic job with this one. Also, this was the best of the bunch. They released two more in this style and I felt this one was definitely the best of the lot. If you can find it, pick one up. I highly recommend it!

3, reviewed from notes.
Pours a bright but deep medium orange. Very clear, with a sparse curtain of bubbles rising up. One finger of white head, decent retention, fine lacing. Nice.
Smells bright and pungently fruity. Sweet, in a juicy way. Loads of stone fruit - I feel like I just cut a peach and an apricot, and am rubbing my nose in their flesh. This is Belgian yeast style fruit, and I'm liking it. Also a big hit of white grapes. Really nice, though I do wish it had a little more saison in it.
Taste is similarly juicy, but less fruit, more grain. What fruit there is leans more towards the white grape. A dash of black pepper, a slice of banana, and a few flower petals thrown on top. All smooth edges, rounded off and sanded clean. Complex and varied, and quite tasty.
Medium-bodied with an upwelling of carbonation. It feels like it's boiling up from the depths, starting slowly, then coming on in a rush.
This is a really tasty saison. It's fruity, and juicy, and really well put together. I'm impressed, and had no trouble finishing a 750 of it. Wish I had some more of it, actually.

@ BrewMasters
Dark gold color with a solid head that plasters the glass with lace and comes to a rest as a permanent creamy covering. Buttery, somewhat bourbon-like aromas upfront...slight vanilla, lemon funk, bread, faint banana, and some booze lurking beneath it all. Wine barrel creaminess, floral notes, peppery esters, some more banana-ish fruitiness. Creamy in the mouth and drying in the finish. This is not your average Saison, but it's a pretty nice, unique take on the style. The creamy smooth Chardonnay barrel quality isn't overdone and is pretty enjoyable. Glad I tried it...

Thanks to Woodrow for this one!
A: Pours a hazy orange color with a one finger white head, nice tight foam with nice retention and thick lacing all around the glass.
S: Decent aroma of faint Belgian spice, fruit, and some grass. There is a little bit of green grape and banana for the fruit.
T: A good bit of the chardonnay barrels coming through, a little bit of a wine flavor, more green grapes, some grass, and a bit of spice. As it warms a bit of banana comes out.
M: Medium bodied with high carbonation. Slight alcohol presence.
O: Liked it more as it warmed, but seemed a bit big for a saison and not as delicate as I prefer them.
