A totally crummy beer that tastes like liquid aluminum and smells like it too. But hey it was 99 cents. Wouldn't buy it again unless I had only a dollar to my name though.

It's a cheap Malt Liquor, pretty much just a session beer. Tastes exactly like the price would lead you to assume. This is more of an "I want to get drunk" kind of beer than a fancy, tasty beer, but at 99 cents for a 24 ounce can, can you really argue with it?

I happened to be at a local deli. Scrapping spare change and decided for only a dollar
Why not give it a try.

This beer is downright gnarly.

Out of the can its even worse

The taste is metal
And the smell is also a metallic funk

Hands down the worst beer I have ever had. Try it for a review, that's about it.

40 ounce bottle
Served in a pilsner glass

A - It has a golden hue to it. Generous amounts of rocky, white head cling to the sides of the glass.

S - I get the typical grain and grass of a malt liquor, but I also get some soap which leans toward some floral hops.

T - It really lacks flavor. Typically, malt liquors have an alcohol taste and some off flavors. I get a little of the grain and grass, but it tastes more like an adjunct lager.

M - Thin

O - This is a pretty tame malt liquor. It is weaker tasting than most. It goes down easy and was a great way to celebrate today's holiday.

A - Pours dark nasty gold with a one finger head. No lacing.

S - metal, aluminum. That's it.

T - Metal, aluminum. That's it.

M - Medium bodied with medium carbonation.

O - Overall, pretty much a nice big load of garbage. Perhap s SLIGHTY above Steel reserve.

$.99 for the 24 oz. can. Crazy Stallion Malt Liquor has a thick, white head (which recedes fairly quickly) and a clear, golden, somewhat bubbly appearance. The aroma is of sweet and sour grain husk, and the flavor is sweet, fruity, a bit hoppy, and bold. An alcohol burn does appear down the throat. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Crazy Stallion Malt Liquor finishes mild, crisp, and easy drinking. This one surprised me. I found it enjoyable.

24oz can (99¢) served in a large glass beer mug.

L - clear copper color with a white head that thinned out in a hurry.

S - sweet, grainy aroma.

T - very sweet tasting with a light touch of sourness on the finish but still sticky sweet on the lips.

F - medium bodied with good carbonation for hearty burping.

O - worth a try for the price and nostalgia if you remember the original Crazy Horse Malt Liquor.

I've been a glutton for potential punishment lately and when I saw this at the local everything store for a mere $1.15 I just couldn't help my cheap self...

Pours a rich, morning pee clear gold with a minimal head that just vanished before I blinked! Impressive carbonation right after the pour.

Smell was almost nonexistent save for a hint of what seemed like generic grain aroma. No listed abv and no hint of a strong alcohol presence either.

Taste was clean mild grain, not overly sweet, very smooth and easy drinking. No hint of hops in the least. Clean finish...Mouthfeel is on the thin side and carbonation stayed strong.

You can't really go wrong for the price although it IS a completely forgettable beer. Cheers!

A - amber clear color with giant fluffy soapy head. Mild continued carbontation.

S - oil drum, recently used, can filled with hay

T - sweet medicine and aspirin. With some canned air and a pinch of grass clippings

M - airy watery but also with alcohol burn.

D - 99cents for 24oz. Maybe paid a bit too much. An extra 50 cents gets you more flavor and more abv.

Can 24 oz.

A: Pale orange with a crystal clarity that you could easily read small text through. The head was a bit soapy, quick to dissipate and dirty white in color. Light, and very spacious rise of carbonation was quick on the move.

S: Corny fusels. Some dried kernel scents, very light alcohol detection at first.

T: The flavor was starchy grains, light dry caramelized notes, sweet with a refrained alcohol content and presence. Upon warming corny fusels show and are evident but manageable. Dry starch finish.

M: Medium bodied, syrupy, light carbonation but still has some rough patches. Carbonation was constant throughout the drink.

O: Drinkability was a bit hesitant, not very smooth, comes in a bit subpar per style.

5.9% abv, $0.99 24 oz. can. Brewed by "Hornell Brewing Co., LaCrosse WI".
Native American themed malt liquor, City Brewing, have you no shame...

Used to see empty cans of this on the street in my old hood, booze of choice among the transient population. It's definitely a cheap buzz.

Poured into a shaker pint, as cold as possible without freezing. Bright clarity, urine gold, steady streams of rising carbonation. Feeble broken veil of skim across the surface, initial pour didn't get much of a head to form, but there was a bit of foam the second time, when poured straight down the middle.

Swilly, cidery grape and dull wet grain aroma. Something artificial and unnatural about it.

Harsh astringent feel, a winning combination of coarse overcarbonation and sharp astringent grape/apple flavors. This needs to be consumed with pretzels or something to cleanse the palate immediately, the aftertaste is taunting my gag reflex. Wet manila folders, grape juice, communion wine. Watery and fizzy, a flaccid and utterly bland industrial lager. Not planning to finish the rest of this.

Served in a Surly shaker pint glass.

The seventh entry in SwillFest 2011. It pours a clear straw topped by a half-finger of off-white foam. The nose comprises harsh vanilla and cream soda, wheat, and corn syrup. Hoofah, indeed! The taste unfortunately brings in more of the same, though the corn syrup is slightly sweeter and there's a bit of light wheat thrown in for good measure. Well, good is a strong word. The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dryly syrupy feel. Overall, a malt lickah that wants to be a cream ale, but instead fails at both professions.

Served in a tulip glass

Swillfest continues....

This is pale golden. There is corn smell on the nose. I really think this is truly a sad excuse for anything close to tasting good. The flavor is pretty terrible. Lots of adjuncts. It's really really hard to swallow this beer and I don't think that there is too many individuals who would willingly want this whole thing for themselves.
