Purchased as part of "build-your-own-six-pack" at local grocer. Small head on a pale golden body. Right away a funky smell came out, no clue what it is, but it was not pleasant. Low bitterness, a bit too fruity, and, despite the small head, I found it strangely fizzy to the mouth. Too sweet, too funky, too fizzy.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a Sam Adams perfect pint.

A: Standard pour creats a 1.5 finger coarse white head with poor retention. Beer is a clear, straw-yellow. Lacing is patchy and rises like the tides. Doesn't stick around though.

S: Nose makes me shy away a bit. Corn, wheat, and other adjunct odors. Smells like a cheap macro. Bit of lemon to give this one a layer of sweetness and zing.

T: Taste is adjunct-y too. Corn, big malt profile in the mouth. Very sweet. Honey or cane sugar in the background that moves into the forefront as this one lingers. Very one dimensional and that dimension isn't too good. Again, just like the nose, a bit of lemon to add to an otherwise very boring and overly sweet offering. Finishes sugary with little aftertaste.

M: Light bodied and highly carbonated. Quenching and coarse in the mouth. Bubbly going down. Finish is messy and aftertaste doesn't linger.

D: Although this is by no means a good beer, it does its job. Quenching and plenty refreshing, it has its uses and it is easier on the palate than most macro swill. Would never be my go to beer but probably a good gateway offering.

Thanks to Rob for sharing.

Poured yellow with a white cap of foam.

Smell is an odd grainy-musty hay, cut grass.

Taste is similar with musty grain elements, somewhat metallic, very slightly bitter. Watery.

Body is light with strong, biting carbonation.

Poured from a 12oz brown bottle into a standard pint glass. No indication of when this beer was made.

Appearance: Very little head, maybe 1/4 inch of pale yellow foam. This disappears very qucikly leaving nothing. The beer itself is a golden brown color, perfectly clear.

Smell: Slightly sweet, metallic smell. Similar to the smell of Kolsch. Slight honey sweetness odor on the finish.

Taste: Lots of CO2 bite upfront, almost so much that is overwhelms the flavor. A little bit of malty sweetness after the CO2 bite, but not much else.

Mouthfeel: As mentioned, lots of carbonation. Enough that you get the beginnings of a soda water flavor.

Drinkability: All in all a bland beer, not much of anything here. Maybe this would be better on a hot summers day instead of when it is snowing outside, but I would almost rather have a cool glass of water.

This beer pours a very light bodied, very pale gold in color with a white head that quickly dissipated into oblivion. It smells of pale malts with a dash of honey. It sounds better than it is. It reminds me of walking into a freshly cleaned bathroom with fresh urinal cakes. It tastes of crisp and sweet pale malts with artificial honey flavoring. It leaves a nice sweet aftertaste but altogether it doesn't have very good flavor. It is one of the lightest beers I've ever had, which is what it was aiming for, and it is actually pretty refreshing. Overall this beer is definitely average in all aspects and in my opinion, there are much better options for a hot summer's day.

Thanks to Wasatch for this one.

Pours bright straw yellow with a thin bubbly white head that immediately becomes a vanishing, small patch that doesn't last long. Half-way through, it is all vanished. A couple dots slid down glass at start, but no lacing is left.

The smell is of a bit of honey and vague grain.

The tase is honey - not overly, but nothing backing it up except a mild graininess and an every so light hop balance that doesn't really play into flavor.

Light-bodied, paper thin, with an effervescent carbonation that was not really noticeable in the appearance. Slightly harsh for an "easy drinker".

I suppose as a generally inoffensive summer refresher it might be okay, but there's a blandness about it and the honey aspect is not really supported much other than to keep it from being sticky. It is too sweet for me to be that refreshing. Drinkable to a point (one, at most), but I can think of many other "simple refreshers" I would choose over this. A forgettable brew.

Served up in a pint at John's Main Event in Burlington, WI.
Review from notes.

Hazy gold coloration, slow moving streamers of carbonation. Thin layer of white foam on top, minimal flecks of spotty lace in the glass. Clarity is fairly bright despite the chill haze.

Aroma is bland wet grains, some vague honey and grassiness in the nose. The flavor is quite similar, dull malt and very mild dry bitterness, neither here nor there. Not really getting much honey in the flavor unfortunately. Fairly gaseous, biting carbonation. Not something i'd revisit, more like the bottom of the barrel for Tyranena.

Those ladies don't look very beach-y, do they? The beer pours a lightly hazy blonde with a medium head. The aroma is doughy with some floral notes and a light spice, nice enough but terribly faint. The flavor has some honey and a bit of fruit finishing with a bit of toasty bread. Much like the aroma it's nice but it's lacking any charisma.

Thanks to gcurlow for this one.

Appears a pale orange with a fizzing white head that falls to a whisp. The smell is of honey, rich malt and wet grains. Tastes about as it smells with a distinct honey flavor on the aftertaste. Mild carbonation with a certain sharpness to it, light body. Overall easy drinking but not notable.

12oz. bottle poured into an imperial pint. No bottled date found. Thanks to BeerFMAndy for the bottle!

(A)- Pours a hazy golden orange color that produced an immediately dissipating white head.

(S)- Lots of honeycomb with a twist of lemon & corn meal.

(T)- Almost biscuity, with a big honey sweetness. Some corn meal.

(M)- A good carbonation level. Rather sweet with tons of honey. Crisp, yet not at the same time. Finishes a tad bitter.

(D)- Fun for the summertime heat, but otherwise this just doesnt do it for me. Some beers with honey added are great, but this just tastes far too overly sweet for the style.

I had this on-tap at the brewery, and thought it not particularly noteworthy. All brewers need something light to satisfy non-beer-aficionado types, but I didn't feel that this beer really delivered for casual nor serious beer fans.

It poured a dark yellow color with not very much head. Aroma was slightly sweet. Flavor was a bit malty up front, but with not a lot of other flavor. Mouthfeel was rather thin, and I didn't find this beer to be extremely drinkable. All-in-all, I would recommend you try another Tyranena beer.

Bottle. Golden yellow. Sweet scent, does bring out the honey and grass in the nose. Quite sweet beer, very smooth with a bit of a metallic flavor in the aftertaste that is mostly masked with a honey aftertaste. This would pound down nicely on a hot day, but I would have to say I have encountered better offering from Tyranena.

The beer is a clear, light golden hue with a small, off-white foamy head. Aromas of biscuit, general sweetness, perhaps some fruit overtones. Bread and honey with a sweetness that would become cloying if I had more than half the bottle. Light in body with moderate carbonation. Not a repeat.

Three Beaches Honey Blonde pours like ginger ale. Big carbonation bubbles stick to the glass. A half finger soapy white head formed on a hard pour as I tried to coax a little something out of there. The head fell to absolutely nothing. No island, no collar, nothing. The looks are this beer are very disappointing.

Aroma is simple. Biscuity maltiness with a bit of floral qualities and a touch of clover honey sweetness. Not much going on here.

Flavor is sweet from front to back. Floral and honey notes(both from the kind of honey used) are present throughout and make up the majority of this brew. Some pale biscuity malts in back just coming through.

The mouthfeel is the best part of this brew. Medium bodied with a smooth creaminess. Moderte carbonation keeps things moving.

A little on the sweet side to drink more than a couple. At the same time the aroma and flavor don't greatly help the drinkability either.

A dissappointment from Tyranena. I guess they have to make a beer for the masses. Pretty average summer ale, which I must admit is one of my least favorite types of seasonals.

A= s somewhat vigorous pour yeilds just a thin skin of a head that falls fast to a ring. The color is actually sort of pretty its a light honey color with maybe a little haze in it.
S= honey and what I'm assuming is wheat??? Actually a little stinky like vomit sort of.
T= very light taste. There's a lot of honey in the aftertaste but really nothing up front or in the middle. A slight sweetness.
M= light as hell. Water light.
D= pretty good seeing as how its so watery. But I don't think ill venture to this beer again too bland and boring.
