12oz bottle poured into a pint glass, thanks to demcorhip for this one.

Pours completely opaque black with a 3/4 inch tan head that leaves a good bit of lace, medium carbonation. Aroma is simply delicious, and exactly as advertised. Tons of roasted Coffee with a bit of mocha sweetness, some buttery notes, some dark chocolate, brown sugar and vanilla. Very rich aroma.

Taste is sweeter than I imagined it would be, molasses, brown sugar, milk chocolate and vanilla all in the forefront. Tons of espresso bean flavour, with cocoa and a nutty malt flavour back it up, and a slight lactic acidity keeping things in check. Alcohol is evident in the flavour as well. Mouthfeel is oatmeal-smooth but not overly thick which is really nice. Carbonation is medium, and there's a pretty acidic bite about it, but it dries nicely and gets sticky going down. This is a drinkable brew, very flavourful, and a little boozy-seeming, but one more couldn't hurt....

The Devil made me do it pours a black color with a small, but long lasting and lacing head. There is a huge rich, and creamy coffee aroma. The taste has a nice bold coffee flavor, but is very creamy and has a nice oatmeal flavor. Very drinkable, good flavors, just the smallest bit watery. Overall a very rich and creamy coffee beer.

L - rigorous pour reveals a syrupy dark brown ale topped with a thinner tan head
S - rich aroma of coffee, chocolate, oats, roasted barley
T - coffee, chocolate, oats, roasty, very rich, caramel
F - super creamy, full body, easy to drink
O - excellent beer, but it does remind me of a certain other popular coffee chocolate oatmeal stout. This is very good nonetheless.
