Really nice IPA from Tyranena. I am guessing that they expected the orange peel to bring a bit more to the table, but to be honest, it may have been a blessing that it didn't. Beautiful deep copper body with very sticky head. Lacing all over the place in my delirium snifter. Aroma is thick and resinous with big waves of citric hoppiness. Big doses of dry hopping gives this a wonderful fresh aroma. This beer is like under a month old so it is extremely fresh. Taste is malty, gritty and hoppy. Bitterness abounds from all angles and a big malt body creates a great balance. The beer is incredibly flavorful and full of piney, sticky, raw hops. Way too smooth and drinkable for such a big "session" beer. Definitely not IIPA levels, and it is just perfect the way it is. Orange peel is really nowhere to be found, but may have added to the overall high quality of this beer. Like others have mentioned, it is shame that Tyranena is putting out soo many great IPAs that it is getting hard to separate them, but it surely is not something that they should be ashamed of.
