12 oz bottle courtesy of bdrc. Thank you. Poured into my tulip tumbler. A thick rich two finger head that has some staying power slowly fades away to a thick mound leaving lacing along the glass. Copper in color the glass has a touch of particles in suspension keeping it from being completely clear. Light carbonation is visible from time to time.
Smell is hoppy. A good mix of citrus and pine. A good malt note in the back with light caramel.
Taste is well balanced with a stronger malt presence that the nose would suggest. Indeed after the initial grapefruit barrage the malty caramel aspect rushes to the fore, hold up its head and then surrenders to a clean hop bittering in the finish. Crackers remain on the roof of my palate.
Mouthfeel is medium weight and spot on carbonation. Tingly and pleasant.
Drinkability is wonderful. easy to knock back as many as you want.
