12 oz twist-off bottle poured into an imperial pint.
6% ABV, 40 IBUs
A - Perfectly clear and perfectly golden, this IPA is vibrant and pours with a sturdy stark white head that reduces to a creamy layer of foam beneath dollops of lacing.
S - Hoppy but not bursting, One Shot has a subdued aroma of lively citrus; grapefruit being the most dominant, backed by notes of toasted white bread.
T - General tropical fruitiness blends together like a smoothie but grapefruit remains at the tip of the tongue, even through the encore of soft wheat and light maltiness.
M - Light bodied with bright carbonation, One Shot has a smooth finish that's punctuated by grapefruit-like hop bitterness and gently lingering fruity nuances.
O - Despite what seems like a nose that's devoid of any dry-hopping, One Shot is a really nice, drinkable single hop IPA. The Calypso hops make for a citrusy, fruity combination that, in collaboration with the light body, is very lively and refreshing with a mildly bitter finish.

Poured 12oz bottle into pint glass
A - Pours clear and golden with a finger's width of nice dense head that mostly dissipates after about a minute and leaves thin lacing. A subtle motion of bubbles moving to the top in small numbers.
S - Slightly weak, but still a pleasant, rather even blend of bread and malt, citrus and grapefruit
T - Mild citrus up front with a bitterness that fades to a fresh loaf of wheat bread with a hint of honey.
M - Light bodied with medium carbonation. Slightly dry finish, but not unexpected.
O - Drinkable and refreshing beer that is par for the course and may miss the mark for big hops fans.

poured 12oz bottle into snifter. 0794 indicates this was bottled on March 20.
A - Clear and golden with a soft 1.5 finger white head. Nice retention that falls into a collar and leaves spotty lacing. Bubbles stream upward the entire session.
S - Aromas of light sweet Vienna malt yield to floral, fruit and citrus notes. Passion fruit, apple, and pear with hints of orange.
T - The tastes is very nice with a light malt sweetness from the Vienna malt. There is a floral and bitter hop component with notes of Passion fruit, orange, pear and apple.
M - Light and well carbonated with a slick feel.
O - This is a Point beer? What a transformation they are going through...I can't wait to open the other IPAs.

Pours golden with a fluffy white head that leaves lacing.
The smell is mild, but pleasant. Grapefruit character is there.
The taste is of citrus/grapefruit with pear. Hops stay just ahead of the sweet, firm malt. It has a semi-bitter finish.
Creamy smooth, it has a nice refreshing quality.
A nice choice for a more "balanced" IPA.

This pours mostly clear, golden yellow color with a thin off-white head. The aroma is weak with a slight touch of hops. The texture is average but the bitterness is nice and light. Not as big or as bold as other companies make their IPA but still not bad. Finishes with a lingering dry bitterness but rather average when it comes to the realm of IPAs.

12oz bottle from the sampler pack. Looking it up online, I figure out it's a calypso singled hopped 6%er.
Very clear, filtered golden orange with a thick cap of foam. Smell is like candied fruit with a orange rind citrus twist. Taste is kind of one-note, a flat orange zest with a bitter finish.
Better than expected

Pours a huge, dense, white head that laces nicely. A bright, very citrusy aroma. Crystal clear, golden color. Starts with a bitter, citrus orangeness. A touch of malt in the background, with more citrus rind coming through. Finish is lingering citrus rind bitterness. Fairly high bitterness.
This is pretty good, and I don't typically like a citrus rind hoppiness. Somehow, this blends that bitterness with a bright citrus hoppiness. If it were more floral and aromatic, I'd really dig it.

Clean malt backing allows fruity hop flavors to flourish. Unique flavors of lemons, pears, and some green tea...Lemon zest and orange peal on the finish lend a nice bitterness.
Aroma is fresh and floral and with light citrus, pine and an underlying earthiness.
Enjoyable IPA with some unique flavors..Not sure what hops they used in this but I'm guessing Sorachi Ace has to be a part of it with the lemon notes..
