Enjoy the rhythm of this single-hop IPA. Calypso hops, lightly toasted Vienna malt and white wheat malt blend together in harmony. New Calypso hops add tasty citrus flavors with hints of passionfruit, pear and apple. Malts: Vienna, White Wheat Malt.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is slightly hoppy with some citrus mixed in. The taste is a good mix of hops and fruit. Overall, a real good American IPA

I obtained the One Shot via mix IPA pack from Meijer. This one poured a clear Golden with white head that is not lacing. The scent has faint bitter fruit. The taste is dry through the drink with grapefruit bitterness being present. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall this is a decent beer and very sessionable. Perfect for the hot weather here today.

the least impressive ipa in the mixed ipa box, which has been real fun to drink through. its got some real nice sturdy citrus notes and bitterness to it, but the malt backbone is a little too strong for me, and the hops seem almost diluted or dumbed down as a consequence. notes of lemon and grapefruit and fresh cut pine in the nose, i like that aspect a lot, but there is also a baked sweetness going on and it softens the hops a little too much for me. the flavor is like that too, maybe with a little less of the grapefruit, which i miss from the smell. a hint of pennies and dirty metal in the finish with the bitterness and malty sweetness. the grapefruit comes back at the end, which is nice, but with the other flavors its a little muddled and heavy. the white ipa and the spruce ipa were the clear winners in the box for me. this isnt bad, but theres nothing distinctive or special about it. it could have been made by literally any burgeoning craft brewery in the country. just okay for me on this one.

Pours a hazy, golden color. 1/2 inch head of a white color. Good retention and slight lacing. Smells of citrus hops, floral hops, strong pale malt, hint of yeast, slight sugar, and a hint of grass. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong pale malt, citrus hops, floral hops, slight grass, hint of pine, and a hint of sweet malt. Overall, decent body, aroma, and blend, but nothing extraordinary.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle.
A: Pours a hazy golden amber with lots of noticeable settlement and some bubbly carbonation, one inch of white head rests atop the brew and lingers for a minute or so.
S: Aromas of grapefruit, pear, orange, passion fruit, and apples initially. Then the sweet Vienna malt, white wheat malt appear, followed by some floral hop notes. Aromas are subtle but pleasant.
T: A blast of citrus up front with grapefruit and passion fruit leading the way, then you get flavors of pear, red apples, and orange. Finishes with sweet bread like malt flavors, and a nice floral hop bitterness.
M: Light bodied with medium amount of carbonation. Smooth, crisp, and very slick feel. Leaves a pleasant lingering astringency.
O: A nice single hop showcase of Calypso hops. The Vienna and white wheat malts lend the perfect backbone to create a well balanced and enjoyable IPA.

Very restrained in hops and bitterness, almost to the point where I would consider it an American Pale Ale. There's honestly not a lot of flavor to it until you get a mild pine and wheat aftertaste.

12oz bottle. Poured a clear, golden color with a small head of white foam. It smelled of citrus, floral notes and sweet caramel. Nice bittersweet flavor with hints of orange and caramel.
