Never loved the stuff but drank it in college because it could be had in bottles, three-for-a-buck in the 1980s. Local pubs also had it on tap for about the same amount. For me this stuff is drinkable as a novelty since it is made a few mile from where I was born..
PSB is definitely an authentic Eastern European lager with distinct sulfur components that are popular this that part of the world. Try it for fun.
Hometown loyalty and good business practices help to keep this company afloat. They now produce a few OK beers and an exceptional root beer as well as other soft drinks. Take the tour of the brewery if you are in town.

Pours a golden yellow color with a very fizzy 1 inch head that reduced quickly, wow just a ton of carbonation. Smell is a little dull some grain and faint hop. Taste is ok, sweet fruit notes with a little bitter in the finish. Mouthfeel is smooth and light.
Overall, it's an ok beer nothing that will knock your socks off, but also very drinkable. My suggestion for serving this beer...is that it tastes way better served very cold. Great beer for frozen mugs.
One more note, I always keep a few cans of this beer around for cooking brats, it makes one of the best brat hot tubs. Cheers!
