12oz bottle. No dating information found.
Mostly clear, pale amber colored body. One finger of white head sticks around as a thin cap. Leaves behind spots and rings of lacing.
Aroma of lightly toasted bread and floral hops.
Taste is malts that express toasted bread and caramel, and woody/floral hops. The caramel note increases in the aftertaste. Has both a sweet flavor and a woody/dirt flavor. Bitterness level is very low.
Medium mouth feel, with some syrup. Easy drinker. Very good carbonation.
Easy to quaff because of the sweetness and the lack of bitterness.

Appearance: Pours a clear, medium, bright orange color with a strong off-white head. SRM of 10. (4.00)

Aroma: Strong aromas of bread, rich bread malt, maple syrup and honey. Some booze and caramel. (3.75)

Flavor: Moderate flavors of brown bread, sweet bread and caramel, some maple syrup and sweet honey malts. A sweet orange citrus hop flavor off the end. A dry finish. (3.75)

Feel: Lighter-bodied, strong carbonation and finishes relatively clean. Some orange citrus sweetness lingers. (4.00)

Compared to Oso O-toberfest 10/2022: Pours a lighter color. Milder aromas. More maple syrup, honey, and less rich caramel, brown sugar sweetness. Dryer and cleaner with more carbonation.

Compared to Hop & Barrel Oktoberfest: Pours lighter, Milder aromas. More maple syrup honey, orange citrus, Less toasted malt, bread crumbs, and yeast. Winner: Hop & Barrel

Overall: A decent Oktoberfest here. Nice honey and orange flavors, yet drinks pretty clean. The orange appears as it warms. Strong carbonation and surprisingly dry. Still decent stuff. (Rating: 3.79)

I've never heard of this brewery before, but Stevens Point Brewery is based out of Stevens Point Wisconsin and this is their Oktoberfest. It's a märzen style, so it has the traditional amber color, though I didn't get as much head as I was expecting. The nose is a toasted malt which is different for this style. I would describe the taste as sharp and very much reminds me of brewing with extract. Beyond that initial "sweetness" is almost nothing, the following mouthfeel is inoffensive. I would suggest the brewery work on their recipe next year and get it closer to the standard easy to drink märzen.

Cloudy amber brown body with a thin white cap yet thick lacing. Macro caramel malt nose with not much else save some floral hints. Taste is toasted macro caramel malt the whole way, sweet finish. Flat feeling almost heavy with mostly malt texture with a hint of yeastiness. So many better options out there

I got a bottle of this beer off the single shelf from a beer store in La Crosse, Wisconsin. It poured a clear amber with thin off white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had nice caramel malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and subtle rye grain finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Not my favorite Occtoberfest but maybe the best value. Easy drinking ,has all the right flavors, overall solid. I get this one every year because of how easy it is to session.

This is a 12oz. bottle poured into a 20 oz. weizen glass. The beer is a slightly hazy amber color. The foam is pure white, almost an inch that after a minute settled to a thin cap, leaving very little lacing behind. There is plenty of carbonation to watch in the glass. Very nice!
The aroma is a sweet bread malt aroma.
The taste is the bread, sweet caramel, finishing with a very light amount of the Oktoberfest spices on the finish. This is a very easy one to drink.
The feel is medium, with a slightly dry finish. The finish helps tone down the sweetness.
This is a good Oktoberfest, an easy one to enjoy.

Brewery notes: Point Oktoberfest is an authentic Marzen Style Lager beer, a style reminiscent of the beers originally brewed for the first Oktoberfest Celebrations in Germany during the early 1800’s. Craft brewed using Hallertauer Hops and sweet Vienna roasted malts results in a full flavored, finely balanced beer brewed in celebration of the upcoming season.
Malts2-row, 6-row, Crystal, Vienna, 2-row Munich

My notes: tested from 12 oz cans
Look: Clear Amber Gold body, tall fine head the dissipates fairly quick doesn't leave much lacing.
Smell: sweet bread, grain
taste: toasted bread some grain Micro hints of caramel and stone/dark fruit. The hop notes are some floral and some thing else?. Smooth, just slightly sweet at times. light duty and easy drinking. Roasted malts? a micro amount of the flavor is mixed in. It is balanced and nothing dominates.
fell: Ok

hard beer to rate and describe. It's solid, not my favorite. But maybe the best value at $9.89 for 12 pack of cans 3.84/5
