Pours into my glass an extremely hazy golden yellow with a nice creamy two finger head on top. Patchwork lacing sticks to the glass as it falls. Reminds me of a summer day. Aromas of crisp, grainy wheat starts things off with a touch of citrus and a mild spiciness. Herbal hops lurk in the background along with a yeasty twang. Though nothing really stands out here.
First sip brings a crisp wheat grain malt body upfront that leads into a mellow citrus flavor. Some spiciness moves in along with an earthy yeast flavor. Flows down with a touch of herbal hop bitterness. Pretty refreshing and easy to drink and I like the unfiltered yeasty kick. For an easy drinking American wheat it's tasty.
Mouthfeel is smooth and easy drinking with a mix between crispness and creaminess. Pretty much spot on for the style. Overall, it would be easy to drink a good deal of this and would go well on a hot day on a nude beach (although they need to can this brew as you can't bring bottles on the nude beach!!)

Presentation: It was poured into from a 12oz can into a Weizen glass. The can offers no freshness date, abv or disruption.
Appearance: The body is hazy and has a nice orange/yellow glow in the glass. On top it keeps a small cap of white foam till the end which started off as a three finger tall covering. Lacing is slick and slides right down the glass as I drink.
Smell: In the nose I pick up notes of the wheat malt with some nice citrus and spicy earth yeast.
Taste/Palate: On the tongue I get hints of the classic banana and clove with some nice semi-sweet wheat and lemony citrus. The palate is right on with a nice average medium body and active carbonation.
Notes: This is a very solid American made German Hefeweizen.

I was unsure whether or not I should pour th sediment into the glass. I figured it looks like a hefe, I might as well go for some extra B vitamins. A nice cloudy golden orange hue with a bright white head, lacing forms nicely in fine even layers. Aromatics bring out some nice citric an sharp wheat qualities, if you don't like wheat beers pass on this. However from all of the Stevens Point brews I've tried thus far this is my favorite most drinkabe offering I've come across. Orange peel no spice additions tangy sharp wheat profile, creamy edges slightly acidic nature this is a nice little summer sipper. Nothing too offensive especialy compared to most of these summer American pale wheats. No off flavors a nice light bodied evenly carbonated smooth experience on the palate. Drinkability isn't bad at all, I wish I would have tracked down some cans of this offering.

Poured a cloudy golden color. Not too much head.
Smell is wheaty with some banana coming though. Pretty pleasant aroma.
Taste is nice and light. Can taste the wheat. Nothing overpowering though. Good flavor.
Mouthfeel is light. Nice easy drinking beer.
Overall a pretty solid beer. And really good for $10/12 pack. Definitely will buy this again.

Point Brewing's Nude Beach is an approachable, gently flavored American wheat beer.
It's straw gold body is just lightly hazy, capped by a bright white head. Unfortunately the head retention is lacking, and thus the lacing as well.
The aroma is limited, delivering just a light note of sweetish malt and a background note of hops.
In the mouth it's medium-light in body, and crisp with a slightly elevated carbonation.
The flavor delivers the same sweetish malt found in the nose, and it's just a touch wheaty. That's enhanced by a little bit of berry and apple-like fruitiness from the yeast. What hop flavors are there are low-level, and remain fairly non-descript. It's balanced by a low-level bitterness, and although it finishes with a fair amount of residual sweetness, it doesn't linger for long and it's never cloying.
Overall, it's a fairly drinkable beer. It's well-brewed, and it's fairly flavorful. It would make a great introduction for someone who's never had a wheat. Aficionados will probably find it fairly mainstream, but it certainly has a time and place (summer BBQ's, baseball games, the beach, boating, etc.). Not bad.

What can I say about this beer???...hmmmm...it is a good wheat. The interesting thing is that even though wheats are usually light, this beer takes it a step further and to me is extra light. Nice color, good head and a mild flavor. Yes it has the wheat taste, but is very light and the afterfeel melts way quickly. Aftertaste is gone quickly. This beer is refreshing but I feel like I would like just a touch more boldness

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
Pours hazy light copper/gold with no foam,. Yeast adds marked cloudiness.
Light malt smell with orange notes.
Citrus/orange taste backed with malt and a light hop. Taste kind of like an orange creme.
Limited carbonation. East drinking, good summer beer. Unremarkable though.,

Pours to a nice creamy white head that has some lacing and retention. Color is hazy orange-yellow. Aroma is fruity, candy-like and floral with some wheaty notes as well. Flavor suggests a hint of coriander, acacia or some other flavoring added (says on the label "ale with natural flavor added") and the soft, clean , crisp taste of red wheat and hops barely detectable. Dry, spicy crisp finish. Mouthfeel is correct for style, no anomalies. Overall, this beer hits the spot for summer sessioning.
