This isn't a beer bar; I don't even know why it is on this list (I read the other review and I thought to myself "why put a non-beer bar on this list? you might as well put every single bar in the country on the list then."). Nonetheless, I found myself here b/c I am staying at a hotel down the street and there is nothing in the immediate area. Didn't try the food, had a pretty rummy rum and coke and the server was nice. Some sports were on TV, which I like. Don't go here looking for a beer unless you haven't tried Widmer's Hefe.

Garfield's is a chain-type eatery that typically has some decent beers available. Nothing earth-shattering, but there's only one place in the Washington area with a better selection (Sapphire's). Food is always good, and the service is usally friendly and often easy on the eyes (for the guys at least). If this wer epittburgh, this wouldn;t be on the map. But its Washington, PA. And there is nothing really local that offers decent beer, good food, and good prices. So I feel compelled to add this one to the directory. Basically, a good place to grab some American food with your non-beer geek frineds and still have something respectable to drink.

And FWIW, their parent company's stock has almost doubled in the past year (EATS). But I'm not saying to buy, as I know little about the Company, It's just the stock ticker symbol sticks with me, and they post it near the hostess station.
