Light orange with a touch of rust. Hazy, which is assuring, with a thin creamy head that leaves a firm, protein-thick lacing. Could be a little more in the head and is this a cream ale or irish red? I've heard both. A bit light for an Irish red. Plus, I like hazy, but does that really go with the style?

Sweet floral fragrance with a slight citrusy-mineral quality. Hops are subdued and maybe add to the floral quality? I wonder if sugar was added to this brew to lighten it up and, if so, would the yeast eat it up or would a low attenuating yeast leave some to add a candy quality to the aroma and, potentialy, the taste.

Some low end bitterness with some fruity esters. Creamy, I'm more convinced that refined sugar was added, with a humble malt profile.

Nice creamy texture with a harsh carbonation that intensifies the hop bitterness in the finish.

Too much like a cream ale for my taste. This one has big hangover written all over it. I am sure about the refined sugar and for my taste too lacking in maltose to be sweet AND satisfying.

This beer is brewed under contract of Fox Deluxe of Oswego, IL by Sand Creek Brewery of Wisconsin.
So says the bottle. saw a six pack of this ber a the Schaumburg Binny's just last week.

Pours an almost out of style, hazey copper with a few tiny bubbles. Not much of a head. The aroma has smericey, caramel malts with just a touch of herbal hops. The taste starts with a strong toasted malt bill that slowly shows some soft orange peel notes in the finish. The palate is gristy with malt and touches sme orange essence olive oil. Pretty unique Irish ale with awesome sessionability
