A: Clear, shade darker than a macro lager. Nice lasting head.

S: Per style..some malt, a bit grassy.

T: Sweet malt, light hops. Honey.

M: Light, refreshing.

D: Right on style. Not a hop bomb, if you looking for a hoppy beer, DON'T BUY A BLONDE ALE! This is a good session beer, blonde/kolsch/cream ale/helles, these normally are a light, easy drinking style. I get so tired of guys blasting these styles for not having any taste, ect.

(Served in an American pint glass)

A- This beer has a hazy brown lemon color with a creamy white head that is thick and last a good bit. There is a strong carbonation of tiny bubbles.

S- The smell of soft pale malt has a faint dry corn note to it. No smell of hops detected.

T- This beer has a very light pale malt note the quickly turns into a bitter noble hop flavor. There is a big carbonic bite that overtakes the hops and makes it a bit more bitter. The taste is not so much hop bitterness but seltzer water bitter.

M-This beer has a medium mouthfeel with a light creamy texture.

D- The flavors are a little off and as it warms the corn notes and carbonic bite get stronger. No thanks.

Poured a darker copper color with some white head on top.

Smell is not very good. Very malty with something funky coming through.

Taste is about the same. Funky kind of off flavor. Malty with a poor aftertaste.

Lighter beer. Just doesn't go down very smooth. Not very refreshing.

Overall not a real good beer. Probably wouldn't buy again.

Amber-leaning brass with a scattered white lace.
Grainy nose with impressions of toasted sourdough.
Sourdough, again, upfront in the mouth. It sweetens with a trace of caramel, though it stays dryish. Goes awry with a buttery yeast- one that worked in their English Special Ale in a quieter way- that brings notions of cream cheese, and, even worse, pangs of muted cheddar. Fades towards a tart earthiness and tea as the hops hit.
Greasy of feel and yeasty thick for an American Blonde. It carries a small amount of drinkability, but that's being generous, as this is repulsive on the whole.

12oz single, Woodman's

appearance: pours a typical clear pale yellow, straw like, a fluffy white head, little left behind in the form of foam. not much to say

smell: strong scent of toasted grain, slightly sour, grassy, a touch of citrus, lemon peel, green apple...herbal hop profile

taste: sweet and grain driven, lemon peel, apple sweetness, grassy hops, light toasted malt....hardly a drainer in my book but nothing too exciting either.

mouthfeel: thin-medium, a little buttery, slight tart

drinkability: pretty easy drinking

Hmmm... not really sure what this is. Appearance is ok- very blondey yellow with no head or lacing. Smell is almost non-existant, kind of metallicy with some sweet malt hints. Taste is well more of the same. This seems a little off balance. Mouthfeel is decent with some good carbonation. Drinkability is not very good for a blonde ale.

A - Hazy, cloudy, dusty gold color with an average sized, foamy, cloud-like, soapy white head. Average retention with a pretty good creamy layer of lace left.

S - Some cracker and pale malt aroma. Grainy aroma comes out a bit stronger in subsequent sniffs. A touch of lemony citrus rind. Fairly sweet with a touch of spicy aroma.

T - Some sweet pale malt and a touch of cracker/bread flavor. Fairly strong apple taste comes out along with some lemon rind. A strong grainy taste with a bit of toasted flavor along with it. Very faint grassy taste as well.

M - Lighter side of medium body with a nice level of carbonation. The more I drink, it seems to get a bit smoother and creamier. Nice feel.

D - Easy to drink with a nice mix of flavors. Quite refreshing with a nice body.

Notes: Nice, easy to drink beer with a nice mix of flavors. Pretty tasty, not going to blow anyone away, but a solid choice (especially on a warm day).

t: light pale malt taste grassy hop flavor also detectable, the corn malt flavor really isnt detectable

Dark gold body, slightly hazed, big head at first, fades down really fast, but leaves a thin layer of shite foam. Malt and diacetyl in the nose, not a lot of hops, not very good, somewhat stale tasting. Not too good, the flavors don't work to well together, producing a dry, nearly undrinkable beer. Skip it.

Poured a... well, golden color, into a pint glass, crystal clear, developing a small head that quickly faded away into oblivion, leaving behind little lace. Smell is of some sweet pale malt and not much else. Taste is much the same. Some sweet pale malt, slightly fruity, a little noble hop bitterness in the background, somewhat dry on the finish. Nothing out of the ordinary. Average carbonation, quite easy to drink a few of these in one sitting.

Served in a Walter Payton shaker pint glass.

I'm strangely digging the roller coaster ride that is this Sand Creek mixed pack.... The final one therein pours a clear golden straw topped by a finger of white foam. The nose comprises wheat, grass, and light buttery biscuits. The taste holds notes of orange zest, light lemon zest, grass, wheat, and very light buttery biscuits in the back. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a slightly watery feel. Overall, a decent blonde, nothing amazing and nothing offensive.

A - Pours a one finger head that is white and fluffy in appearance. The head fades rather quickly and the body is golden brown and hazy.

S - Typical malts and grains with nothing that stands out to me aside from that.

T - Nice balance of malts and grains. Pretty smooth overall with a little bit of sweetness.

M - Smooth balance of malts and grains that transitions to a nice smooth sweet finish.

D - Pretty easy drinker. I could have a few in a sitting.

12 oz brown bottle with clear freshness dating.

Beer pours a hazy, rusty bronze with a dense white head.

The beer smells like malts, some hops (citrus) and fresh grains.

The taste has some apple overtones. There is a bit of lightly toasted malts and a bit plum flavor. The hops emerge a bit later. They add a bit of citrus under pinning.

Fairly decent mouth that turns a bit rough and ready late. Easy enough drinker, could be a nice session beer and would be an easy beer to pair with most foods.

12 ounce bottle. This beer pours out a clear, light brown color with an inch of white foam. The aroma is terrible, cooked vegetables all the way. The cooked vegetable taste is so strong, this is a real chore to drink. A bit of malt hidden behind the dank, but for the most part it is overpowered. This is a drain pour all the way. Throwing away beer is something I try to avoid, but this is overwhelmingly bad. I enjoyed Sand Creek's stout, but stay away from this one.

Small capped bottle, poured into a pint glass.

Hazy golden in color, white head, decent retention.
Nice aroma, sweetish malts, citric with lemony and orange notes, light fruity hoppiness.
Light bodied, quite refreshing, with a good amount of carbonation.
It is mostly sweet malts, quite fruity, with a lemonade twist. Nothing special, but nice. It went down easy on a summer day.

Reviewed from tasting notes.

A. Somewhat hazy golden color with a single finger fluffy head that has pretty nice retention time and average levels of lacing.

S,T. Honeyed malts with a pleasant twist of lemon peel and grassy herbal hopping.

M. Light and pleasant, well carbonated with fizzy bubbles and yet also some smoothness to it.

A nice little by-the-books American Blonde.

Lighter golden brew, slightly hazy. Small white head quickly takes off. Nice bready malts dominate the nose, light floral hops linger in the backround. Bready grain malt front, delicate touch of bitter and floral hops round out the finish. Medium bodied, somewhat creamy feel. Nice light beer that you could go to town with.

Grabbed a bottle of this when I was in WI for the holidays. Poured into a pint glass. Pours a cloudy light gold with no head at all. Some very light lace sticks. Scents of veggies, grains, and a kiss of honey on the finish.

Good crisp, clean body on this beer. Very tame and mild in the flavor dept. There is a nice hop presence though with a mild bitter kick. Some good bready flavor mixed with a sweet backing. This is what it is. Drinkability is high as it is unoffensive and tame. I, for one, liked it. Great for barbecues and campouts in the great WI outdoors.

Not a great beer. I suppose it was easy drinking enough and I wouldn't object if someone offered me one at a gathering but I certainly wouldn't pick it over, oh i don't know, 40 to 50 other beers. The one specific thing that I noticed was the weird fruity taste that I got on the backend of each drink. I am not opposed to a fruit taste in certain beers but this just had a weird artifical almost spoiled fruit kind of flavor.

Poured into a standard pint.

Pours a medium straw with a 1 finger violent head that recedes quickly. Light cloud with bubbles climbing the glass.

Aroma is sweet candy sugar and honey.

Flavor is light roasted grain and sweet honey, very different, the flavor is sweet but not cloying. Hops ride in the back with a minimal presence. There is a husky graininess to the beer that works very well.

Mouthfell is medium and crisp.

Very good medium balanced beer, I enjoyed it.
