Tried this beer by half-pint along with their Pilsner at the brew-pub.

Appearance: it has light-copper to dark-oolong tea colour, with limited carbonation and faint beerhead--a pity.
Smell: very noticeable caramel note springs to mind, with hind of English custard(?) as well...
Taste: apple-tart, caramely palate.
Aftertaste: good balance of driyish bitterness and light maltiness.
Drinkability: I rate it 4 because in a sense it tastes much milder than its strength (5.5%abv) suggests; a nice session beer.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub in Covent Garden.

This bock poured a hazy, amber color with creamy, white foam that coated the glass nicely. The smell was malty and a bit nutty with notes of grain and butter. The taste was lightly buttery (some butterscotch) with malt and hops. The body was medium with medium carbonation. The finish and aftertaste were slight bitter and hoppy. Overall a decent single bock in the German style but with a touch of diacetyl.
