Hazy golden orange color with a small off-white head that soon fades to a paper-thin layer. Carbonation is moderate with poor lacing. Aroma is odd, cloying sweetness with sparse hops. No skunk notes, however. Taste begins with a little sharp carbonation, followed by tart malt, bordering on sour, very little hops noted, finish is dry. Mouth feel is watery, although not unpleasant. Altogether, this beer does not seem to be correct for the Pilsner style.

Package reviewed was a sixteen-ounce brown glass twist off. ABV is 4.8%. (531 characters)

Poured a orange/golden with a moderate yet thick head. The head is longer lived than some from this brewery. The nose is sweet malt with little, barely noticeable hop scents. The flavor is moderate bitter hops that are tame at best followed by sweet malt that matches the nose fairly well. The aftertaste is nearly non-existent. This is one of the better beers from the "best beers of the World" collection.

Part of the "12 Greatest Brews of the World" sampler pack found at my local Wal-Mart. I am not usually a fan of this style anyway, so having a pale imitation like this didn't help much. Pours an orangish-yellow color (I have noticed all the Old European brews have been some type of orange so far) with a thin off-white head. Mild hops aroma. Flavor is both watered-down and sour, with a somewhat dry finish. Avoid. (415 characters)
