stopped by this place in a pinch. Wasn't sure if it was even still open. I wanted to make 10 gallons of American barley wine. I think I got lucky they actually had everything I needed. Not much of a selection here. It's party/keg/homebrew store. Kind of weird. They about a dozen different pellet hops, about the same amount of grains, DME, and various beginners homebrewing supplies. Nothing fancy and no liquid yeast. Thankfully I was using yeast beds from 10 gallons APA I just did or I would have been trying to make a barley wine with dry yeast. Could have taken a while.

If you are in a bind, this place will work. To do serious buying, go to the Home brew, wine and cheese shop in Woodland hills.

Same as what the review below me says.

Homebrew selection seems to grow everytime I go in, I've found a lot of stuff for great prices here. Staff is helpful and the owner was kind of unfriendly until he figured out that I was there to spend money. (I'm a young guy) Great draft selection. Overall a good local store and they keep some stone barley wine on hand too.

One thing I wish this store would stock is liquid yeast. They have only dry yeast. They do have all the odds and ends of homebrewing, carboys, bottles, wort chillers, bottlecaps, irish moss, etc. Cool little place.

This shop is housed and run by the same people behind Tavern Services in Northridge, CA.

This is the store you want to go to when not only are you homebrewing, but you're seriously wanting to build your draft setup. They have every part you would need to build a complete faucet set. (Which makes sense because they also service regular bars as well.)

Grain is carried in bins behind the cash registers with gear out in the front. (They have most of the typical gear that one would need for brewing)

In addition to the homebrewing (which is a sideline for them and a good excuse for the proprietor to brew while at work) they also stock lots of great beer in draft form and have an endless supply of CO2 and beer gas mix for the draft system.

Once you're on good terms with the owner you can really go nuts and get some great stuff from him. A recent Oktoberfest special was 50L draft kegs of Kostrizker Oktoberfest for $50. Not bad!
