Fizz is a special 30th Anniversary collaboration beer brewed by Oregon’s Widmer Brothers Brewing and 10 Barrel Brewing. This unique, bubbly spritzer-style ale offers bright citrus character, subtle hints of ginger spice, and is finished with champagne yeast to really make it pop. Fizz is as sparkly as it is surprising. Let those little bubbles dance.

Has a big lemony ginger nose with clean light grains. Pours brilliant gold with a snow white foam cap with a champagne texture but longer lasting. The palate is very creamy with some light shortbread to white biscuit in the background. Very champagne like, very light, crisp, refreshing and easy to drink. Has a bit of ginger heat in the background. Well balanced.

Pours a hazy golden-yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of grain, citrus zest, lemon juice, and slight ginger aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, citrus zest, and slight ginger flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a crisp and refreshing mix of lemon and ginger characteristics that make this one quite easy to drink.

Had this one on tap a couple of times now and this review is from a bottle, but my opinion hasn't really changed.
Pours from a bottle.. bright clear golden.. short lived white head with no real lacing...
Nose has subtle ginger and wheaty maltiness to bring up the rear.. lemon notes show on the finish.
Wheat malt with light ginger... lemon and something that I associate with sage..
Light body ... very drinkable, but this one will get lost in the fray... nothing wrong with it, just not outstanding in the field.
3.5 across the board.

Aroma is mild and lightly bready. Appearance is like a champagne beer with those tiny bubbles. Taste is subtle and would go very well with various food pairings like seafood salad. Ginger is a great spice that has a calming effect on the palate and constitution. Definitely, a pre-course starter beer. And a nice way to start enjoying more heavier beers. Great company collaboration.
