Burnt orange body with cornsilk yellow head that leaves lots of snowy, lacey wisps.
Surprising hoppy citrus nose with some cherry cough drop underneath.
Red plum jam, some light caramel, a speak of chocolate, then lots of bright orange hard candy hops with a touch of pine.
Tangerine finish and long cleanly bitter fruit stone linger.
Medium, chewy, slight fizz, some burn.
Unexpected - winter fruit malts with Cali hop ending, tho I don't get much Simcoe. Balanced and layered. Almost plays like a poor man's SN Celebration (tho much maltier.) [honestly, I did not read Buckeye Nation's review when I wrote this - weird!] Approaches Cascazilla if you take it as an amber.
Probably the best thing I've tasted from Craft Brewers Alliance.
