On tap at Kips in an Imperial Pint
A - Poured a clear light mahogany with about an inch of head.
S - Citrus, Malt, Hops, and caramel
T - Very Malty and Caramel in taste. Some citrus and hops for sure. Closer to an IPA than a Winter Warmer.
M - I find it to be a little heavy tasting with a good amount of carbonation.
D - For a Winter Warmer it's very drinkable. Tastes more like an IPA than a Winter Warmer. I actually drank this a few nights ago and i'm just reviewing my notes now. On my notes I thought it was a seasonal IPA, that's why I tried it. My bartender did not tell me this was a Winter Warmer. If I had known that I wouldn't have tried this at the tail end of my session. Thankfully it's only 7.2% and not 9%-12% like some warmers tend to be. Overall a pretty decent experience. Give it a shot if you get a chance.

A: Darkish ruby amber, almost clear with a dissipated off white head.
S: Initially onions but it soon gives way to floral hops, English in character.
T: In the mouth the hops tastes more American with that classic orange peel profile but overall it drinks like an English bitter. Nice and sharp with an astute malt backbone which leaves a nice aftertaste, again reminiscent of English bitter. Too sharp for a session beer but on cask would be a different story.
M: Sharp and prickly. It's got heartburn written all over it.
O: Very nice. I'd love to try it on cask.
