Deadlift Imperial IPA pours a very clear still orange amber with a small frothy head.
Smells strong with floral hops, some pine...there is a strange hop characteristic here.
Taste is immediate with grapefruit, piney hops. Malt is light, indistinguishable, though there is a strong sweetness. Bitterness is minimal. (especially for a DIPA)
mouthfeel is good. even-bodied with a strong alcoholic bite.
This is really only 'imperial' in the name. I can find nothing imperial about this beer besides a higher ABV. tame in flavor and bitterness
