Bright brass with loose off white froth that's gone in a flash.
Deep floral nectar and honey nose with some orange hard candy underneath.
Light country biscuit and apricot with Cascade-y hit of lemon zest, light pine and maybe lychee.
Papaya sorbet finish and sweet chutney linger.
Light only thinking of medium, flinty, round and soft.
Watery, too pale, underhopped for the strength, and lacking in complexity. It is soft, and I suppose it's balanced, only because the malts are blonde and muted, too. Widmer have the know how to do better; just not the will, seemingly. Not really sure what the character of the Alchemy blend is - C-hop lite? - but I don't feel the need to revisit it.
Entry level is a compliment.
