I picked this up at Giant Beer Garden and eatery, enjoyed chilled from a stemmed glass.

The color is deep amber bordering on copper with mild haze with thick 2 finger white head which leaves a streaked lace pattern with small bead. The smell is great, tropical fruit, citrus and floral hop aromas with some mild malt esters. The feel is great, moderately high carbonation with moderate bitterness and the right sweetness level with no astringency and mild resinous hop texture with a semi-dry finish w/ no alcohol presence.

The taste is great, lots of hop vibrancy with moderate citrus and some slight tropical taste of grapefruit and slight orange element with a gentle malt sweetness adding some complexity to the great blend of hop flavors. The yeast adds a slight accent of toasted nuts with the finish leaving some residual bitterness on the tongue. Overall this is a great beer, I consider pale ale a great style for everyday quaffing yet the hop blend really shines in this ale. I would recommend this to those who like a more balanced Pale not an IPA in APA clothing.

12-oz bottle into craft pint glass

A - 4 fingers of off-white foam over a transparent body of golden amber; lots of rising carbonation

S - lemon and floral notes

T - toasted wheat bread, lemon, peppery spice, floral hops, bone-dry finish

M - smooth medium body, high carbonation

O - Not bad. Tasty and refreshing.

Appearance:
Pours a clean, clear copper color and is topped with a thin, tan head. Nice lacing. Carbonation galore!

Aroma:
Simple and fantastic! A surprising sweetness breaks through a light, piney character. Pineapple and a bit of coconut.

Taste:
Mostly matches the aroma, only everything is lighter than I'd of hoped for. A decent amount of pine and wheat over some lightly roasted malt. Oddly enough, no sweetness here with the exception of some faint watermelon. Decent, but boring.

Mouthfeel:
Light but rather dry. Quite creamy and plenty of carbonation.

Overall:
A decent American Pale Ale overall, but not a stand out in the genre. If it had more character to taste, this would be easier to recommend as it's really its only downfall.

Wish I had found the date on the bottle before I bought it! It's long gone, fairly flat, but still pretty decent. Seems unfair to rate an old bottle of ale, but it hasn't gone skunky and I can imagine it with carbonation, so I think this is an OK brew. Take my review with a grain of salt!

A very nice aromatic brew. The hop bouquet is fresh smelling with some hints of floral hops.
The appearance is up to par also with a hazy clear, orange amber color. The head is low and dense and lingers a good while. There is some wispy lacing around the glass.
In the taste I noticed that this beer is quite bitter and puckering on the palate.
The taste is fair. The hop taste is light and muddled.
An okay beer but the puckering bitterness at the aftertaste is almost too much.

This beer was an absolute surprise to me. I picked this beer up from a local grocery store in a sampler pack, not really expected an outstanding beer. I tried this beer last, and let me tell you, I saved the best for last. This beer is refreshing and a beer I advise to novice through expert beer connoisseurs. It's very earthy with a smooth finish. The true test is hard to define. One must try this beer to get a true appreciation for it's outstanding taste. This beer is a MUST!
