Omission Lager pours to a yellowish color with a slight head of foam comprised of larger bubbles. It looks okay at first, but sinks to a thin coating in a short time. The nose on this beer is one of lightly spiced hops and sweet pale malt.

As for the taste, this beer is mild, but likable. The dominant flavors are cereal grains, honey, herbal and grassy hops, and some basic fruit in the middle- namely some mild lemon and faint apple. The beer is crisp, clean, and easy drinking. The body of the beer is light and it seems very easy- going overall.

This beer prizes itself for being brewed gluten free. It uses a special process to remove the gluten and by doing so, the beer is free from an ingredient that some people cannot consume, and that makes it a beer that most anyone can consume. It is a decent effort from Widmer- certainly nothing amazing, but not bad overall.

Thought lagers were usually heavier, i like the lightness of this one. Has a bit of a citrus taste like a Blue Moon, but is crispier...pretty tasty for a gluten free beer. I poured a bottled beer into a chilled mug, it was refreshing. The after taste is so so, it's better on the lips.

Omission Gluten Free Lager has a thick, fizzy, white head, a somewhat hazy, extremely bubbly, yellow appearance, and some lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, pungent, biscuity malt, and the flavor is of lemony & grassy hops, white bread, and just a bit of strange medicinal background that one gets with these gluten-free beers. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Omission Gluten Free Lager finishes dry and easy drinking. Overall, it is one of the nicer ones in this class.
