A good tasting simple beer. I have no idea what reduced gluten does to the flavor, but it tastes like regular beer to me. Lemony, sweet, slightly grassy, slightly minty, smooth, very enjoyable.

Not a bad beer. Tastes a bit different due to no gluten, but I have no problem drinking it. Not as light tasting as advertised.

Decent starting head but it fades to rim bubbles. Few spots. Crystal clear. Dark straw color
A touch of skunk to the otherwise raw barley grain aroma. Faint hop. Smells like a macro.
Spritzy with a thin body. There's a bit more flavor than a macro, but not by much. Very grainy. Little, if any, hop. Refreshing as in the lawnmower sense.

This is not a very good beer. It does look like a lager, albeit one with feeble carbonation. It smells like nothing and tastes like an na. Mouthfeel is ok, and the head is really pretty for a little while, so I'll give it that.

DATE: January 17, 2020... OCCASION: Friday of week two in a gluten-free diet--time to try more beer!... GLASSWARE: Penn State pilsner... pours a swirling, almost violent explosion of bubbles amid a clear, golden body that frames its fluffy, puffy snow-white, three-fingered head... its resilience is impressive, especially considering other gluten-free offerings have flat-lined rather swiftly... crisp biscuit, bright aromatic flowery hops--lilac and hyacinth--and lemon zest... it's rather light, if not weak, but it's not off-putting... it has a basic, thin, smooth mouthfeel that approximates a light beer with dry tannins... somehow, the effervescence that showed so impressively doesn't make its way to the tongue or throat... and not as crisp as the bottle suggests--still, it does refresh... lemon dish soap, lilac, some fruitiness (berry, apple), the feint of bread malts, and a little nuttiness... this holds its own against the normal rinsers, but for a gluten-free beer, it rounds nicely into a drinkable lager...

I am so beyond happy that I found this beer! I used to be a loyal Miller light drinker before gluten issues put the kibosh on it. I tried a lot of different gluten free beers but I never found one that had that light, clean taste. This one is great substitute! The taste is slightly bolder but does the job. I can finally have that reward beer after the yard work gets done ❤️
