Pours one finger of head on a clear light straw colored body.
The aroma is light grain. Not much but fine.
The taste has a moderate lemon and grapefruit bitterness but still easy drinking.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
A fine enough drink.

22oz from Roth’s Vista Market in Salem. $2.79 I am a big Timbers fan so lets hope for the best. Clear light golden beer with a nice thick and frothy purest white head. Light honeyish, biscuity aromas,,touch of apple. Nice light honey/oat/wheat ..creamy wheat taste..slightly spicy very nice indeed Good mouthfeel ..thinnish but complex at the same time Nice Kolsch here reminds me of Reissdorf Kolsch.

22oz : nonic
Clear, golden yellow with a fizzy white head that dissipates to leaves a thin film across the surface.
Some grassy, peppery notes with a balanced, pale, slightly grainy malt profile.
Medium body, fizzy carbonation.
A decent beer, though I would have liked a bit more bready, malt backing.

This poured out as a clear golden color with a fizzy white head on top. The retention fades and it leaves no lacing either. The smell of the beer is sweet with corn and grains. The taste is the same as the nose. The mouthfeel of the beer is light, crisp and refreshing. Overall it's a pretty good Kolsch, but it's a Kolsch... If you like the style you'll enjoy this one.

The Green & Gold is a salute to the the Portland Timbers and is a remake of a winning home brew from the Timbers Army. The pour came out like a Kolsch does, clear and straw colored.
The smell is grainy and with a tiny citrus aroma. It is crisp while being soft on the palate. It is taste distinctly grain filled and has a faint bitterness. The feeling in the mouth is where you have the bitterness covers all around. Overall this would be an awesome beer out in the sun watch a Timbers match. I will buy this one again.
