We had lunch here. The atmosphere is English Pub with TVs. A little worn looking. Quality seems on first impression somewhat upscale but my husband's beer was served without a glass, he had to ask for one. The beer selection was lousy, on draft and bottles. We had sandwiches that were a little dry, no mayo or mustard. we had to ask for some. the mustard came in a glass jar which doesn't work very well with ketchup and really doesn't work well with mustard. Gave us a few laughs trying to get the mustard out. We ate in the bar and it was crowded and noisy so the restaurant might be a little better. The prices were a little high for what you got. Wouldn't go back.

Right in the middle of town and it seemed to be the happening place. Old feel, with a nice modern touch. I think the jukebox was a bit loud, but at least it was good music. Nice selection of taps including Victory, Bell's, Duck Rabbit, Paulaner, and Cherish Kriek. Bottle selection included Lagunitas, Troeg's, Stoudts, and Rogue. The bartenders were busy but attentive, but it seemed like they were busy enough with their own conversations to each other. As for food, veggie pizza and thick cut chips with cajun spice. Quite nice and big portions. A decent stop in Gettysburg.

This is a great to place to hit if you're on foot in the middle of Gettysburg. It sits right on the town's central roundabout.

Approaching the pub, I was a bit wary, since there was a large crowd waiting in line without. However, they were trying to squeeze into the overcrowded dining area, which I've never eaten at, only passed through. The lovely copper bar, though, had more than a few stools open, so Caitrin and I pulled right up, which afforded me an excellent view of the few coolers situated behind. Good thing, too, since the taps offered no local micros, the best being from Sam Adams, as I recall. However, there were about three bottles from Tröegs, so we settled on Tröegenator and Hopback. Also, noticing a conspicuous bottle of Galliano sitting in the top-right corner of the liquor display, I asked the 'tender if he knew how to make a Harvey Wallbanger. He didn't, but the mixology book did. He said that he can't remember the last time he'd used that bottle, but the drink was most impressive, and I bought some OJ, vodka, and Galliano to make it at home. The Pub is now responsible for my love affair with the Wallbanger.

As for food, we ordered the crab and spinach dip, which came in a large breadbowl. It was pretty tasty, but I'd say less bread, more dip, especially for $11!

Service was never a problem, since they had two 'tenders behind the fairly small bar.

Highly recommended for a snack and Tröegs in a great location, just don't expect anything more exciting than that.

The atmosphere was pretty nice, though touristy; and the service was ok...pretty quick and attentive.

Never tried the food, but from what I saw on the menu there was a selection that would please most.

There was the standard selection of beers in bottles and on tap. They also had a selection of Troegs in bottles and one Lancaster tap. A decent stop if you are staying in the area and want somewhere easy to walk to, as this is the best beer bar in the immediate area that I made it to. The prices were also pretty reasonable.

This place is okay. They often have Red Hook beers on tap. They usually have Boddington's and Guiness and a few other imports on tap. Yuengling Porter is always on tap. In bottles, they normally have Troegs (the best the pub has to offer in my opinion). The service is good. The food is good and the portions are huge. Actually, one entree is enough for two people. Sometimes there is a huge college crowd which makes the service a little slow. Overall, a decent place to eat but nothing to rave about in beer terms.
